I would like to know if any of you know about Monarch Computer systems and what have your experiences been with them.

This is what I'm looking to buy http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...&AFFIL=pg&NR=1

I've used monarch a few times. They're reasonably priced most of the time. I don't like their processing time. It's too long compared to other retailers like Newegg, Zipzoomfly, Frozencpu.

Go for it.

I've dealt with them a number of times and never had a problem. Good folks to deal with, especially if you need to call them on the phone.

Sometimes, like Draken says, they are a bit slow to ship, but usually they are pretty quick. I think it all depends on what time of the day it is when they get your order.

Also, for our Canadian cousins, they DO ship to Canada

My dad bought his video card from there I think. He seemed quite happy with the service.

I have to say, the support from Monarch is really good. When I was in the market for a new PC, I would call them and they were always very responsive and helpful. One guy even called me back as a follow up to a question I'd asked that he didn't know (I think it had to do with a release date of the SLIx32 boards).
