Differences in compilers?

hi guys,

can anyone tell the differences of programming languages compilers, based on factors such as output quality, effectiveness...or others...

what do you mean?
Are you asking for the difference between, like, C++ and java, or for the difference between jGrasp, NetBeans, and blueJ(all java IDEs)?

sorry...

what i meant was the differences of each compilers in 3GL. Like the machine-dependency, output and so on...
