I have never been there myself, but I do have some friends from there (although I cannot think of what part of Italy they are from off the top of my head). They live in the U.S. now, but they are from Italy.

I never been to Italy either - I do wish to go sometime, but at present its not likely anytime soon. - and I appreciate the generous offer of 'Cicerone' - I would Imagine I would need it, as my Italiano is 'neicht so goot'( = 'horrible' or 'not so good' - yup, I used to know a little german too - I bet I'm a bad speller internationally... lol)

Actually, I'd love to ride a motorcycle from Spain/Portugese through France all the way to southern Italy - coastline the whole way. - But I hear Italian drivers are crazy (at least American TV portrays Italians this way) - is this true? - if so, I'm not sure it would be on motorcycle. :s

In Italy right now it's 5 a.m, i'm just back from a party where i drunk a lot....
So, yes italians are crazy drivers , this is not good, actually i'm really quite and wise while driving.....
