also radiocolonel posted about this song so thought id put it up again.

Just a little feedback:
Again, I really like the first 3 1/2 minutes of the song. It builds up very well. I was sorta of expecting it to go into a lead/melody (or something like that) after that point, but it instead kinda jumped into the heavier drums (the transition didn't seem to flow like the rest of the song). I would love to see the song extended to add a lead/melody part or something (I know it is easier said than done).
The song has a little bit of an Enya feel to it. I really like it. It is my favorite of your self made stuff so far. You seem to be getting better and better with every new song. Good work.
-Russ

thnx russ, hmmm....yeah i'll take your feedback and will have a look at some kind of lead melody later into song.. see what i can come up with edit- maybe even using a asynth patch??lol
the drums were done like that as a kind of surprise element, so not sure about changing them but ill have a look at that too and any other feedback from others about this part would be appreciated.
thnx for the positive comment re getting better.... !! all of you guys inputting has really helped to focus where i need to improve and has helped sooo much... so cheers!
russ.. thnx for all your input... i really appreciate your interest! really helps

My feedback is just meant to give you some ideas. I could say the same thing about some songs I hear on the radio, etc, so please do not feel like you have to change anything based on my feedback. I do like the song as it is.

yeah thnx russ, your idea is worth looking into. especially as radiocolonel posted this on the other thread which kind of matches up to your comment as hes thinking about adding some guitar so might be cool?

Hi trev,
I was just listening to this song again. I still like it. I keep checking your page for new songs... Are you working on anything?

thnx russ, glad you still like it.
yes, ive got a few tunes im working on.... very slowly though.... 5yr old girl and pregnant wife and other stuff. will post as soon as ive got someting on the way enough for listening
... nice to hear you check on my post for new music. i had a feeling people werent into my style too much as there seems to be alot of blues and rock on this site...
got a new website starting though.... in VERY early days, but its got lots more of my 1970's band on it. go to this site and click on the two circles which will take you to 'my music' and 'my band'.
theres also a couple of older songs you can listen to "drumb" (drum and bass try!!) and "compassion" which was a very chilled repetitive thing made from one of my own live drumming rhythms i liked.
to hear the songs so just click on the buttons at the bottom of the vending machine...

Nice Jukebox, but the coin slots down line up right in FireFox.
Again, all you band stuff is really good.
I also listened to "drumb", "robsong", and "compassion".
Generally, I liked them all, although "compassion was a little too repetitive for me (as you said), but it does have a nice sound to it. Keep up the good work.
As for personal taste. Although everyone has there own personal taste, many of us like a wide variety of music, and most peole can appreciate good stuff, even if it is not the type of music they normaly listen to.

That should say 'don't' and not 'down'.
As for RobSong... lol, I think I must have clicked on the wrong coin slot because I do not remember hearing any little girl talking... I wonder which one I actually listened to . In any case, I just listened to the real RobSong, and it is very cute, with a nice backing melody .
