Java River - attempt at a jingle

My wife wrote this one day. The idea was to put it on the local radio station as an ad for the local coffee shop. My wife thought our friend Malena should sing it. I put down a quick guitar part and here it is.

As it turns out, even though the coffee shop liked the song, the local radion station is a semi-public radio station and the so this type of advertising couldn't be used so that ended our career as jingle song writers / promoters.

If any of you come to Montevideo, I will buy you a cup of coffee at Java River-really.

The song, oddly enough is called Java River.

tooo cold! - and Im not one for coffee (or derivatives of) - now if you lived near 'Mountain Dew Lake' - that'd be a different story

ahh - that's just for that one - you never know.

The rest of your songs sound very 'coffee house-ish' - some thing you can 'chill' to... scratch that - maybe 'chill' is not a good term to use in MN. I mean some thing to relax to over a cup-o-java. Live music in LA coffee shops was pretty popular a few years back - would seem right up your ally.

We are trying to infuse some faster stuff into our songlist. Trouble is we play out about 4 times a year and half the band is 2-1/2 hours drive from here.

Yeah well...As we age we just don't move as fast as we used to. I have to record things slowly then play them back at a higher sample rate

I must admit, though, that your song SON is one of my all time favorite mixes here. You should repost that tune.
