This card wouldn't work too well on my "mid-end" system, I only have a 250w PSU

I'm content with my BFG 6800 ULTRA OC. Till I see the need to upgrade, I will stick with what I have as my games run just fine.

the amount of money you have to pay more for a 7800gtx compared to a 6800ultra isn't worth it in my opinion

i'm happy with what i have. I don't neet to spend $1,200 to gain a marginal performance increase.

what about - 'it looks great but do not need one at this time' or something along those lines?
my 6880gt at ultra will do me just fine for at least another 1-2 years. i think it(7xxx) is an impressive card. the fact that they brought it to market so soon after their last release is impressive too. i also think this is an error in marketing on their part. i would have waited 'till the fall.

i havent seen the spec for te 7800 but i am sure they will be "spectacularly" greater than any previous release.
What will it be? a 20mhz increase in the core memory? HD 3.7.6? Shader model 3.1.1.2? Please, this obviously isnt for the mainstream market? or is nvidia aiming there? gamers, honestly arent stupid, why upgrade to get 1 more fps, or a better 3d mark score than last time.
I am disgusted with how nvidia and ati consistently bring new cards out, i know its a matter of gaining market share, but idiotic in my mind. These cards wont last long...

Nah, its just Ultra Kill good. Wicked Sick is a SLI configuration of two 7800s.

It's tempting, but since I have a 6800GT and I'm SLI ready, I would think it would make more sense to add a second one of those.

I voted for "screw this they cost too much". I also could have voted for "I'm happy with what I have".
The reason I went with the cost factor is that the if it didn't cost too much I would maybe entertain these new video cards despite the fact that I'm happy with my X800 XL. Top of the line cards have been getting so expensive that it's too much money to spend considering what you can get for just a little less.
If these top of the line cpu's cost ~1000 and a video card is ~600.... that just sounds like too much money going into too few parts of a system to me.
