Once I'd moved to PC's, I could never go back.
Tried, but it's just not as intense as huddled in front of your monitor, in a darkened room, surrounded (literally) by your 5.1 speakers (feet resting on the bass driver box under the table), and playing on a system that you have researched, designed, purchased, built and tweaked and tuned etc, etc, yourself . . . . . . . . .
Plus the PC community seem a little more "thoughtful".

XBOX 2/ Xenon/ Next Box/ Xbox Next!!! If the modification scene comes close to that of the Xbox 1 (see Zardon's article on the 900GB 'Heavenly') then we'll be looking at photo quality graphics and 'the rest' we've always wanted. Why play on PC when the graphics card costs the same as a console and then the mobo, RAM, CPU etc doesn't match???

I voted for gaming on the good old PC. I have gotten spoiled by just how much better games look on a desktop. I will admit though the idea of picking up a used Xbox and having some modding fun. is tempting.

Diddo, but I would buy all the consoles that have optional keyboard attachments. I just prefer the keyboard to the game pad, now days.

I picked Xbox2 but I could also see myself getting a PS3 because of the CELL tech. The poll should have a few more entries like .. PS3 AND xbox2 or All of the above.
I hunt down GOOD games on ANY system.

XBOX 360. I just love playing sports games on the 50" LCD Grand WEGA.
People who think console gaming and PC are mutually exclusive are a mystery to me. They both provide me with a fun, yet different gaming experience.

I wanted to vote PS3 and X2. Although pc gaming is more emmersive and has more replay value of it, I admit. I enjoyed every bit of it since I started back in 2001 Max Payne and UT. The problem I'm noticing about pc gaming is that graphics hardware prices has skyrocketed and videocard companies dont care even if they have to sell them for $650 or more with limited supply. By the time you get your hands on the hardware at a reasonable price or original MSRP, a new card is out with the same problems. In other words, pc gaming is getting more expensive by the year and for some reason new highend videocards suppliers just aint getting enough to fulfill their orders. As for now, Im saving for a 30inch ws tv for X2 and Ps3. I rather wait in a long 3 hour long line at BB once, than having to wait for a videocard that may take months to order with outragoues prices.
