Going to change over to an Athlon 64 (939-pin) and that is going to cost me more than enough changing my video card with that in my current situation is to much for me right now... Maybe in the second half of this year but I doubt it.

No, I just spent money on a new rig. was cheaper sticking to agp than moving to pci-e. this rig should last me at least 2yrs. I do need to upgrade my vid card, but maybe later this year if i can afford it...

maybe... not really sure I'm going to upgrade my motherboard/cpu before my video card though... so it might actually go well into next year!

my system is more than fast enough for at least another year. then hopefully i can get a 3.2 extreme & run it up to 3.9 or more. wich will be good for another year.
after that my mb loses its upgrade path & it will be time. pcie should be very mature by then as should sli.
hell could have cell/xdr by then

Im running an Athlon64 3500 on a MSI Neo2. There's really no reason to upgrade that.
But if i see an opportunity to sell / trade my mobo for a decent amount, i just might ... :P

i need a new mobo/proc, but i still don't know if i'll be getting my 470 bucks back or getting a broken down x800xt back from xpcgear.com...damn CC company...a 3 month investigation?
anyways, my system officially crapped out last night. it shuts off the monitor, and then comes up w/ a monitor message that says "please check pc display settings" it used to do that when heavily overclocked, then at my minor overclocks, then at stock w/ only memory overclocked, then last night it did it twice at stock.
...i'm running my system at 133FSB so those benchmarks i did yesterday for the fastest rig competition will be my last entries for the AMD mainstream, i have no way of defending them. (not that they were that good)
anyways, looking at the neo2 plat and a 3500, maybe a 3200 if i can't afford the 3500.

I'll wait for longhorn to come out before I build myself my dream machine. I would like some of the new fangled standards to take hold before I do.
