I would like ATI to make an AGP based X700 series card

Review of a combo AGP and PCIe motherboard was on recently at Anandtech's site - AGP wasn't pretty...

Hey guys, i found this thread using google. Youre prayers have been answered! Powercolor has in the mail to me, one of the first x700 AGP cards! I will be getting a simple review up as soon as i can, and I know that XBITLABS will also be getting a copy of this card. Ill let you know how it is!

Actually i just heard today from Powercolor that I would be recieving a card within the end of next week. They also listed that I was the first to get one, along with XBITLABS. I'll let you guys know when i get my card, and ill give a preliminary report, but ill bet that xbitlabs will give a better one.

Keep an eye out!

Excellent!

Been thinking, might be able to build a new system after the new year. Would likely build an AMD64 based system with an X700 card (at this point...). Would be a fast, highly cost effective gaming system...

Hey, thats awesome! My test system is an AMD64 3000+, with 1GB of corsair XMS pros, so I'll be testing with a similar system! I was planning on running a 3dmark03 and 05 test, as well as many settings for the video stress test in CS:S. If anyone else has an idea of a test they would like to see, let me know! Ill also make sure that an xbitlabs link shows up here when they get theres.
