19" CTX PR960F here - great refresh rates
TFT still quite expensive, only heard the rumours they are not as good for gaming yet (not actually experienced it myself).

shit, I own a CRTX2, heck Xquite a few but I acidentally voted CRT.
Oh well, it's a Samsung Sync Master 739s 17", an Acer 17" (which I love to smitherins) and a good old IBM PC100 15". hehe.
The rest I can't remember right now, either too old or just tossed in the corner somewhere.

I have my laptop's tft with max/native 1400x1050 but use it @ 1024x768.
I like TFT's in terms of they are more easy on the eyes, but, damn they do suck in other departments. While my monitor has no ghosting problems at all (it is a presario 2816ea model from compaq but have no idea what the actual monitor is), I find 2 being the main problems I have with them. 1) That I cannot stand as I want but only as I must to see the screen properly, 2) The black colour and some other very very dark ones are not so good on TFTs in my experience. I remember playing Galciv on my laptop then seeing it on another computer with a CRT (some noname crap) and the colours were oh so vivid and so clear to see at everything, far more crisp.
If I ever manage to find the money for a new desktop pc I will buy a CRT monitor.

19" CRT from Medion.
It was cheap but the quality is ok. 1600x1200 @ 75 Hz is acceptable.
Greetings from Germany,
Raff

Well since it's active again-
Went from:
KDS 17" X-Flat monitor @ 1200 x 900 75hz max usable
To:
SAMSUNG 997mb- Silver-Black 19" DynaFlat CRT Monitor
1920x1440 @ 65 Hz / 1600x1200 @ 76 Hz
First one didn't work, RMA back to NewEgg, should get new one soon.
