Just to point out- in the forum menu it happens when the cursor is anywhere in the blue outlined area and in the green outlined area in the pic below..
Plus it waits about a half second after you stop your mouse and lasts for about 6 seconds, then it goes away, and when you move your mouse again it pops up again for the same amount of time, almost anywhere on the page..
So it's kind of hard to "not hover" when it happens pretty much everywhere..
The little ones aren't bad- They are actually no problem, it's the huge ones that I think annoy people.
Maybe there is a setting for how long it stays there, and they could change that or something.. Or maybe there is a setting to limit how much text is shown of the post, it looks like it is set to 9 or 10 lines now- I remember on the old site it was much less, and didn't last as long..

Looks nice. I like the new smilies. I miss the news headers though on the front page. It was nice to jump to a story of interest without having to browse through them all.

It only does it in certain areas, its not really a big deal, just something different, and maybe an annoyance to some people.. I'm mostly indifferent right now because the change over is so new and there are much bigger things to fix first, as I'm sure they are working on- it must be such a pain...

come on guys, lets all be friends give us time to fix the stuff you dont like. as I said in another post we already know what needs fixed, its just not a case of doing it in 5 minutes.
we figured opening it last night with what we had would at least let you all play around with the new stuff and all keep on the forums chatting.

This may have been posted already, but I haven't the chance to read through the whole thread yet...
At each page load on this site only, I get the following:
A Runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?
Line: 369
Error: Expected '}'
Happened since the upgrade. Doesn't seem to affect the content, but then again, ignorance is bliss...
Otherwise I like the new look. Seems the same overall speed as two days ago from this mega-slow (21.6k connect speed) connection at home. Looking forward to the new usability features I see are here now...Thanks!

I can change it so the thread popup only appears if you hover over the link, and not the whole cell.

I miss the news summary at the top of the page. Other than that it's not bad.
