switched from 19" CRT to 17" LCD a couple months ago and I don't regret it one bit... sure I miss the larger screen space sometimes but this is just overall sweeter!

20" Dell 2007FP UltraSharp at 1600x1200. Love it.
Higher res just means I'd need an 8900 to game. ;P

I got a Viewsonic 2035VX 20 inch widescreen. Its not quite as good as the 2025 in some respects but I do love the monitor to pieces. Its nice and bright and clear and very speedy. Its a shame that it is a TN panel though. 1680x1050 resolution

Well, I got tired of my 20.1" LCD and decided to go BIG but CHEAP, at the end found the best LCD for the price:
32" inches of goodness for only $640 at my local Costco!
Here is the link with the specs.

Too bad it doesn't do 1080p instead of just 768. Still, pretty nice unit.

Indeed, don't worry about not having 1080p Omega it's really only noticeable over 50" or so.

I was thinking 1080 for the PC screen size, not movie playback.
I could not be very productive with only 768 pixels vertically. But maybe others have better luck with smaller resolutions.

ObjectDock, from Stardock, all hand-created, no themes (unless you mean the icons), I even removed the windows task bar
As for 1080p, I have been looking for a 32" that supports it (since I can't fit a 37" on my current desk), but so far the ONLY LCD TV that supports it at that screen size is the Sharp Aquos, but is also almost $500 more expensive, too much for me.
The good thing is that I can run ANY game at max resolution (1366x768) with all bells and whistles and all the speed, hell, I even run Oblivion now with HDR and 4xFSAA with almost every option maxed.

Good point on being able to run any game at that res. I had not thought of not being to run all the games at 1080.
It's too wacky, these differing resolutions. Ya got the 4:3 for the PC, then that wacky 1280x1024 (instead of 1280x960), then on HDTV instead of going double the 480p (960) they go 1080. Then up to 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 on the PC. Enough to drive me nutty.

Well, had to upgrade, the difference from 720p to 1080p is HUGE, games look so pretty now at 1920x1080 (some, like Bioshock, had to lower res to get something near "playable" at full detail thou) :happy tear:
