3000+ Barton. 3+ years without significant problems.

Time for a change, though. Leaning toward Intel, but won't purchase until summer (probably), so there is plenty of time to be lured.

Would like to upgrade to a Dual Core intel. But this means almost everything in my current pc needs upgrading, with the exclusion of my vc.

Just can't afford to yet.

Athlon 64 3500+ S939. Slowly starting to gather (so far CPU-neutral) components for the next upgrade.

AMD X2 2.3GHz. More processing power is not a necessity right now so my wishing I had a better motherboard for overclocking is more about the principle. Don't expect to upgrade much this year.

AMD FX 60 - the fastest Socket 939 you can buy, I believe.

I'm glad I got one before they went bye-bye for good. I'm lucky.

I have the A64 3000+ S754 Clawhammer, pulled it from a FS laptop. Might even have a A64 2800+ S754 round here somewhere.

This is kind of a multi vote thing as loads of people run a few systems. I use 3 computers depending if im upstairs or downstairs. Laptop im on now is a Pentium 4 3.00ghz HT.

good point. at any one time I have my opty ( < way) , 2 2.8G P4's (one might be a 3.0 actually), a celeron , and two laptops one's a pentium M and I don't remember the other one. but that's probably just bloody mindedness on my part , so I'll just vote for my opty

Athlon64 X2 4400+ s939. It works good enough for what I do, the last upgrade I made with my system was to upgrade the memory to 2GB, don't see myself upgrading anymore for quite a while.
