50 cent vs Kanye West on G. Bush.
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...11-02-12-25-04
NEW YORK (AP) -- Rap feuds aren't usually about differing opinions on President Bush. However, that appears to be the case between 50 Cent and Kanye West. 50 says he disagrees with West's infamous statement that "George Bush doesn't care about black people," proclaimed during a September telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims. "I think people responded to it the best way they can," 50 told ContactMusic.com. "What Kanye West was saying, I don't know where that came from."Instead, 50 said,
"The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God." It wouldn't be the first time 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, made comments that weren't flattering of West. In a September interview with MTV, 50 - while otherwise complimentary of the popular "Gold Digger" rapper - said: "I feel like Kanye West is successful because of me." "After 50 Cent, (hip-hop fans) was looking for something non-confrontational, and they went after first thing that came along. That was Kanye West, and his record took off."
After months of hand wringing and name calling we finally see that blaming G. Bush for Katrina just makes people who do appear even more ignorant. Ask the Mayor and the Police Chief of New Orleans, they are doing what they can, when they can, and they depend on the governments support. Fema be damned it is really about everyone involved taking responsibility for the changes they can make to improve the welfare and the lives in New Orleans no matter what the future holds and staying focused on the goal.

Wasn't it South Park that was poking some fun at the issue? One of them drove a boat into a beaver damn that flooded the city and stranded people. I think it was Stan or Kyle and he asked his parents, "what about all the people stranded there?". His dad said, " that not important right now son, what is important is blaming someone." That may not have been how it was but it wasa damn funny show. South Park seems to get funnier with age as opposed to well, I don't know, Simpsons : ).
Was not expecting that response from 50 cent, why should two quarters talk at all?

The epic battle of wits and political prowess continues, surely these gladiators, with their knowledge and extensive experience, will please the hungry masses...
really though, its amazing that anyone could understand the two of them, and further more, why anyone would give a shit.
