The idea is kinda true though.

Canada does not need money for an Army because US would defend them.

US does get a lot from Canada but they could do without it though it would never happening.





That guy on CNN is a moron making a stereotype on a people sho's country he has never been to.



Lol, if this is the only new thread in the Debate section we could see some nice lashing out from Canadians and Americans. The arguements would definitely be interesting to say the least.

it's incredibal how much we litterly ship to the US.... i mean, just in the hunting sectors, alone.. big impacts would be made if canada decided to just put the hand down and shut everything up. Would could sustain ourself easily, more then easily, we wouldn't have a clue what to do with it all. (guess send it to china )

every form of resource....

Hell saskatchewan alone produces the worlds nessities for nuclear power.... (any kind)

In terms of global defence...without Canada the U.S. would not have the Aegis it now enjoys...the Canadians contribute a great deal to our own defense...been that way for almost 60 years...
We have agreements that have long been forgotten I suppose, if the excrement ever hit the fan, many would see that without Canada we would be in a world of doo doo...
