Coverage has 'fed' public's hatred, Homolka says

In her affidavit, Homolka said the crimes she committed generated feelings of hate, horror, anger and vengeance, and media coverage has fed those sentiments.

"These feelings have been fed and made worse over the years by the national and international press as well as internet sites around the world."

She said she wants to get on with court-ordered therapy and that that would be impossible if she has to spend the rest of her life managing what she calls the "media circus."

Well maybe if you didn't torture, rape, and kill 2 little girls then you wouldn't be in this position Karla.. you sick sick disgusting person. Now she cries.

I have to agree with you; I think she's getting off way too easy and that she should be grateful that she wasn't fried in the first place instead of complaning about the media. Hell, she should be much more worried about the vingilantes than the press.

Daedal I'm prayin for the people in Quebec brother.. you have one phycho b!tch in your midst. The sad thing is I knew the French family, my cousin went to school with her and they were good friends. I remember when it happened, the most disgusting feeling comes over you when it actually happens to someone you know. I hope for godsake that the people of Quebec don't give her a sympathetic ear.

Don't forget she had a hand in the rape and murder of her own sister. How the hell her parents can be supportive of this woman is beyond me.

Know what? Truth is I'm glad there is such a media circus around her. This'll be the one, and only time I'm glad the media are bloodsuckers. She should never have gotten such a light sentence, and to have the media hound her day in and day out.. guess that's the best justice we're gonna get for now.

I hope her eyes bleed from the stress of the media, and they follow her everywhere, taking pictures of her laughing and taunting her, and hitting her with microphones. She will try to hide away, but they will find her, and then she will kill herself, and order will be restored.
