I saw this. On one hand, the bus driver took it too far and there needs to be something done about this type of behavior in general. But on the other hand, what can be done to fix these types of scenarios?

Let parents beat their own kids. My dad used to smack me whenever I sweared, lesson learned.

I think the driver had no reason to get angry if other kids curse... Who cares, just shows bad manners... But ya if I curse (at home I never do... Out it's a different story) a punishement or something would work!

While I don't agree with the bus driver doing what he did, the kids were cursing at him. He shouldn't have to take that kind of abuse from kids. And the kids shouldn't be abusive like that to begin with.

Each time I see this, I laugh my ass off. If anybody was that smart-mouthed to stand up against an authority figure like that, they deserve a gook lickin'. Friggen little brats. Sure, the driver really shouldnt have hit them (although I would have), but it was still funny. He should have called the deputy from the start. In my opinion, only thowse brats should be charged. Thank goodness there was a video camera to capture all of this.

Ah they were cursing him... Well dunno, but beating them was a bit much don't ya think? And especially in the US where he's gonna get sued big time...

I think it's obvious this driver had to put up with these kids day after day for almost the entire school year. Realistically I can't blame him for wanting to smack them around. But I do blame him for actually smacking them.

Ya I can understand if he suffered for a year and those kids deserved it but there had to be another way... Like dunno, refuse to pick em up and stuff?

Funny as heck, but I never really saw the guy actually physically hit the kid, all I saw was him smack/grab the back of the kids neck. It looked like it was the kid that was the only one that swung a punch.

This guy clearly didnt know how to deal with kids. If one of them had hit him then fine, it would be ok for him to defend himself. Most teenagers and kids dont find f*** and other such words terribly offensive, its just another adjective to us. He should have taken it up with their parents or school. These days we will challenge authority and a lot of 'adults' simply dont know how to cope without resorting to violence.
There are plenty of other ways to discipline without resorting to physical violence, we are very attached to our cellphones...
