I got drunk on the debate just by chuging when Bush said nucular. I was expecting more from Bush in the debate, but his constant "emmm... ohh... euh..." just got me bored to shit. Even if Kerry had the upper hand in the debate, the US will vote Bush. (crapper)

As much as I love Bush, I can see he was clearly defeated in this debate.

Hmm I'm not sure I think it was almost an even tie but Kerry seemed to of had the edge this time. So far I'm Pro-Bush myself but do have some "concerns".

sorry neon, but kerry won this, bush was the one this time going around in circles
even though im not pro-bush (but pro-america) i think bush killed kerry on the homeland security question, but the rest he was just laughing. kerry kept a straight face, sounded more real. bush has sounded like a phony IMO since day one the way he talks seems liek forced expression, and when its on the spot its always a smirk on his face.

Wow over 550,000 votes in a hour
non the less polls like this are foul able! Like I said any one can tamper with them. For example I was just able to vote 5 times in as many seconds
Kerry did come off better because bush did some stuttering....
Debate wise they were evenly matched, with Kerry caught flipping and flopping like fish out of water compare to his previous stance(s).
Bush missed some good stick it to him responses, that could of really burnt Kerry. Bush said the right things but in the wrong way. Wording is everything!
At lest is wasn’t the bush bash fest that Kerry wanted….
John Forbes Kerry (JFK) thinks he’s John F. Kennedy (JFK)
I'd hate to have to move out side the US for 4+ years just to be in a better place I’d rather stay here. If Kerry is elected I’d rather live else were... But I doubt I could afford the move.
All you Kerry supporters if Kerry is elected will you still support him once he's possibly made bad choices, passed bad legislation, changed his position, raised taxes, hurt jobs? And will with still vote from him again in 4 years if he does some lousy stuff and a much better candidate steps up? I sure hope you do because in 4 years when you may go jezze this, this an this sucks. Because I will be throwing it in back in your faces and you will be eating it… Because IMO: it won’t be his fault but yours…. We are responsible fort he people we elect and support

Sorry for what I haven't even posted yet
circles as in keeping true to what his stance has been or like kerry who has changed his many many times.?
Bush did suck up there, but that shouldn't let his message fall on death ears...
Most of us have allready desided long ago who we will vote for regardless of what is said or done 80% of people will not be changeing thier vote. The undecided who knows...
any one like kerrys new makeup? he has used some or that artifical tanner to try to give him self a more healthy look...
Kerry can't help but keep a stright face it's called bo-tox

lol @ who "one"
and Kerry took that one for sure, but im 200% Bush and his people won't allow that to happen again. I heard the candidates signed a 32 odd page agreement of the rules and such of the debate. LOL the american system is so drawn out, here in canada the election process takes 6-8 WEEKS and then its all over with, the states its like 2 years of mud slinging then some extremely boring debates. You should watch a canadian debate one time, such high enerygy
Sorry for going off topic but i just felt like saying it, now im kinda scared of what the americans are gonna do to me

but then you guys would say polls mean nothing ... And over all they don't mean a whole lot. Epecally when thier so faulable and the sampleing is useally relitively small or crowd specfic.....
I've began to belive polls on topics like this are useless
Also who to say voters are people that live in the us?
If they don't it in terms of this election thier openion don't mean sqwat
becouse they can't vote....

Bush screwed up a whole lot. Kerry blamed Bush for things that Bush had no control over (Like sanctions on Iran) and therefore lost points.
I'd say Kerry had the advantage in this debate, but I wouldn't call him the "clear winner"

Could verry well be... are they an example of how the us will vote come nov. ? No it's just a sampling.. some polls say kerry's winning, some polls say bush is winning they can't both be winning....
anymore those open, random, or targeted polls are becomeing usless...
they are the best indicator we have but it doesn't change the fact they are inaccurate, easily tanitable, and not represntative of the full populas.

I think Bush started out strong then Kerry picked it up and both finished with a good speach. But Im voting for Bush, I cant vote for Kerry. This debate turned out as expected IMO.

Either I've got it wrong and should be thinking about good Bush (what is found under a few pairs of panties), but you're a montrealer supporting GW. You've got my attention, curiousity and fascination. I find it extremely difficult to find a single soul here in Montreal that is pro-GW (except for a few 70+ farts, cool farts, but pro-GW). Even a few friends that are conservative aren't for GW. As another canadian (or quebecer depending on your political stance in montreal), what motivates your choice for Bush? I'd actually would be quite interested in what another canadian that is for GW value him more than Kerry.
Note: My stance is i'm pro GW just so that he leaves earlier. Kerry winning would mean GW still be a visible presence for more than just 4 years since the race for the presidency will be another hair splitting event and also because of Kerry being... well... just not good enough to represent the US. Anyway, the dems are just waiting for the '08 or earlier for the real candidates to appear.

Hey Neon, did you happen to watch where you could see both candidates and see just how awful Emperor George looked? He actually DID act like Emperor George for me!!!
I really think Kerry just won the election, this is the point people will say the momentum shifted. 8)

I think it is maybe a bit early to tell who won the election, but i agree the momentum may begin to shift after this debate.
For the record, I thought both candidates did well. I think the candidate that will benifit most is Kerry, as he addressed some of the critisizms he has been confronted with, and he had the advantage of not being on the defense.
ps. Is it just me, or did Bush say "It's hard work", like, a dozen times.

Kerry - yeah for a chronic liar he didn't do too badly. Everytime that man opens his mouth it's a different spin on the issues. In one minute he said the subway system in New York was closed during the Republican convention - wrong the station below Madison Square Garden was shut down for security issues. Kerry blamed Bush for North Koreas weapons proliferation - wrong Clinton knew of the threat and did nothing to stop it during his 8 year tenure. Kerry authorized the policies by which we went into Iraq - yet he's back tracking now to cover his ass. The examples go on and on.
In a nutshell how can this man be Commander-In Chief when he bailed out of Vietnam after only 4 months? Cut and run is what I call it. That kind of action tells me alot about an individual. If he doesn't have the juavos to stay the course he'll bail the first chance he gets...
God help us if Kerry gets elected - the UN will be dictating policy for us then, and that's just for starters ....
Still for "W" though I thought Kerry did a marvelous job of side-stepping, lying, and twisting the facts to benefit his position. I thought Bush did quite well considering the fact he had been with hurricane survivors all day. That in itself can be tiring and can put a strain on anyone with any compassion.
