Dad faked attack at Kerry rally?
http://www.timespatriot.com/articles...4_parlock.html
Quote:
Phil Parlock and three of his children visited the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W.Va., yesterday to catch a glimpse of Democratic vice-presidential candidate John Edwards. Parlock, a staunch Republican, and his family were there to show support for the Bush-Cheney ticket when they were assaulted by Kerry supporters, according to a report in the local paper, The Herald-Dispatch. What the Herald-Dispatch failed to report, however, is that Parlock also claimed to be the victim of similar assaults at the hands of Democratic renegades in 1996 and 2000 — a fact that casts doubts on Parlock's new claims.
Parlock's latest claim certainly is filled with the sort of drama that makes for a fine photo op. Sophia, his three-year-old daughter, was holding a Bush-Cheney sign when angry Democrats ripped the sign from her tiny hands, making her burst into tears. A photographer with the Associated Press happened to be right there to capture the heartbreaking tears leaking from Sophia's innocent eyes as she perched on her father's shoulders.
Compare this latest event with what allegedly happened to Parlock's family in 2000, when they tried to show support for Bush at a rally for Al Gore. At that rally, son Louis, then 12, had signs ripped right from his hands, according to a front-page report in the October 28, 2000, edition of the Charleston (W.Va.) Daily Mail. "I did not expect people to practically attack us," said Louis.

LOL. Either way a parent should know better than to bring a young child to a political event. Such events are known to get heated. I wouldn't bring my chid to a thing like this, I'd actually make it a point to keep my child away from politics.

Uhm, that's source.
#1 it IS worse than Vietnam in that we're the bad guys a whole lot more and the world is more pissed off at us, our body count might not be up there yet but give it time as the deaths continue to mount.
#2 regardless of the source this story is published, the FACTS that the guy did this in the last two elections remains the same. Form your own conclusion if you like; either the guy is a total moron (which would explain his support-o-the-Shrub ) or else he's a provacature using his children for his own agenda.
Where is your moral outrage now Neon?

#1 no it's not, becouse the enemy doesnt wear a uniform and fallows no rules of war, wich isn't any worse then vietnam the world dislikeing us well it's been that way for a quite while they just weren't as verbal about it. Deaths at the current rate shall we?
freaky-this november
March 2003 - nov 2004 the way so for
the way has been going for 9 mouths last year
soon to be 11 mounths this year
9/11
any ways 20 mounths = roughtly 1,000 dead
1,000 dead x 50 to equil viet nam= 50,000 (roughly)
the time it will take for iraq to = viet nam 20 mouths x 50 = 1000 mouths
so roughtly for it to be "as bad" as vietnam the war must contenu for the next 83 years (roughly)
#2 I think we need more presidental canadates

If you do a search on Google using a simple phrase of what you're referring to, you should easily find what you are looking for. I always do. Doing so can greatly help the validity of your points. News articles are rarely removed from the web after publication.

During the American Revoltionary War many American fighters didn't wear uniforms. They used unconventual tatics and guerilla tactics. This helped win our independence from the British.
In Vietnam American fighters were fighting along side Vietnamese, and the Vietnamese we were fighting for were almost completely pro-American. In Iraq this is not the case.
Each month the American death toll in Iraq has increased expediently.
With no exit plan American millita could very well remain in Iraq for 83 years.

That guy is just an ass for dragging his 3-year old daughter into the thick ranks of potentially rabid Bush-hating democrats. Not only does he bring a sign, but he puts it in her hands under the assumption that she should be free from any kind of molestation due to her innocent age. Obviously, some democrats thought otherwise (or saw the word 'Bush' and whipped themselves into a mindless frenzy only dissipated when the offending sign of the GREAT SATAN was destroyed).
On a more serious note: He was an idiot to go to there, but to bring his daughter and use her as a shield for his agenda is pathetic. He's just lucky this was a pro-Kerry/Edwards group and not a rabid 'Bush is the Anti-Christ' crowd. The same would go for mothers taking their 'living' kid(s) through an equally crazy anti-abortion crowd to get mommy an abortion. Kids are, IMO, too young to be exposed to vile mindless mob hatred.
