Believe what you want to believe. I will never question your technical knowledge Prodigal. We're exploiting? We are causing murderers to come from neighboring countries? Trying to help them get out from under dictatorship was half of the reason to remove saddam. The other because he was terrorist friendly and used chemical weapons and inhumane treatment on his own downtrodden people. Our people are dying to help the regular people of Iraq. Mercanaries from other countries are the ones killing the Iraqi's that want to train to fight their own fight. Destroying their means to even have an economy. aspirin...sleep.....

You know what really scared me is when I heard about a proposed law in Oregon would classify anti-war protesters as terrorists. I say to you all, no matter what your political agenda: protect the constitution.
Civil rights. The civil disobedience of anti-war protesters. The key word is 'civil.' Violent mobs of protesters disrupt our city's/state's/country's daily functioning at a time when we are unusually sensitive to disruption. These people share a common thread with terrorists in that their actions only serve to harm our country.

Classifing all protestors as terrorists is too simple a solution and is just wrong besides.

America was founded on the premise of allowing protesting, even if anti-government. Yes, as long as it's non-violent. The proposed law would jail anti-war protesters that block streets as terrorist. As far as blocking the streets for other purposes of protesting, the law doesn't apply. Quite strange if you ask me.

When Saddam bombed Halabja with gas killing 5.000 he was still a 'friend' to the US Government and some while after that too.
According to GW Bush the reason for invading Iraq right then and not let UN do its job ,were that Iraq had the ablitity to launch an immediate attack with weapons of mass destruction. When GW Bush mentioned Saddams evilness it was a way of morally excusing a by international law illegal invasion of a sovereign nation.Illegal even to standards of the U.S.

Now Operations of the USA and the Coalition forces and the Iraqi police kills twice as many Iraqis as the insurgents and among them hundreds of women and children.
I wonder how many would support this war if CNN and BBC would show the pictures of bloody ,gutted ,limbless and crushed children and women and men and their families grief?Do we really want to know what war is like ,is it even possible to know it through a TV-screen?
