i've always wondered why they insisted on sayign a plane hit it...it seems obvious to me it was NOT a plane

A missle? From what? And why would their be pieces of plane everywhere? Aren't planes mostly made from aluminum since it's lightweight and holds together just fine under heavy air pressure? Aluminum cans will melt/evaporate in the coals of a simple bonfire. Imagine two mostly aluminum wings chock full of high octane jet fuel exploding in a relatively small, confined area (inside the concrete/steel reinforced pentagon). It's hard for me to imagine as I have nothing to base it on.

On a related note, has anyone else seen the spontaneous combustion theories proven on the discovery channel? A sudden build up of intense heat in a small confined channel would roast someone alive, under those extreme conditions of course. One story they gave was an old woman who fell asleep in front of the fireplace covered with a small blanket. The sudden rush of heat while she was sleeping roasted all of her body except her legs beneath the blanket and one arm dangling from the side of the chair. Her granddaughter found the pieces and scorch marks on the floor, every thing else was fine.

also as per these 'missile pods' it seems an airport security camera could easily debunk those theories...and if it's NOT true, why hasn't the government released those images?

Also, last i checked, jet fuel was extremely fast/clean burning.....so why on earth did the towers have so much fire when it blew up?

Strong Shockwave

Several witnesses described a shockwave that knocked them to the ground, both inside and outside the building. Several described it as a concussion. Such a shockwave cannot be explained by the combustion of jet fuel, and indicates the detonation of an explosive. Explosive detonations produce blast pressures thousands of times stronger than hydrocarbon fireballs because explosives are oxidized by chemicals intrinsic to them whereas hydrocarbons rely on oxygen in ambient air for combustion. Consequently the chemical reaction proceeds at a much higher rate in an explosive.

The violence of most plane crashes precludes such pre-mixing. In the Twin Tower jet collisions, the columns of the curtain walls diced the fuel tanks in the wings, assuring fuel and air mixing about as optimally as could be imagined in a collision, and yet there were no reports of detonation shockwaves.

Cordite

Cordite is an explosive compound used in aircraft gun ammunition. Several witnesses with the benefit of military experience recognized the smell of this compound. Cordite N consists of three main explosive compounds: nitroguanidine, nitrocellulose, and nitroglycerin. It is cool-burning, and produces little smoke and no flash, but, like other explosives, produces a strong detonation wave.

Silvery Flash

Several witnesses described seeing a bright or silvery flash. This is also inconsistent with jet fuel combustion, which produces a fireball whose color is at brightest yellow, not white or silver. This flash must have been produced by some means other than a cordite explosion, whose detonation is notably free of a flash.

There's also a theory that the planes were switched, so the planes that hit the WTCs weren't necessarily the ones that took off from the airports. It's interesting to think, if those were not the same planes, where'd the other ones go? That's mostly speculation, although there is some evidence of initial explosion right before the planes made contact.

Many of the victim's families believe there was Government involvement in the 9/11 attacks. And many firefighters who were at ground zero before, during, and after the buildings' collapse swear they heard "bombs going off".
But, of course, who are they...what do they know? Afterall, they're just average people. Average people whom lost family and friends in the worst terrorist attack on America ever. They're just people who thought nothing of going into two 110 story buildings that were on fire from thousands of gallons of jet fuel...people whom thought nothing of risking their lives. Their opinions obviously mean nothing.

It is completely classified. Infact, I was recently watching a program on The Discovery Channel about how some emplyees that worked at "Area 51" came down with a mysterious illness. They sued, not for money but to find out what was causing their illnesses. The military denied the base's existance despite areial photographs taken by satellites. The military eventually admitted the bases existance but denied it being called "Area 51".

Further investigation came to the conclusion that the emplyee's illnesses was caused by the dumping by toxic waste near where the workers worked. They had burried the waste in the path of a constant wind current.

Nothing more came of the matter because former President Clinton signed a Presidental Order which made all laws, codes, etc. no longer apply at this base.

President Clinton declassified info about Area 51...and it's not really called 'Area 51', but the Groom Lake Air Force Base...'Area 51' was just the block of land that it happened to sit in. it was just numbered like all of the blocks around it.

Area 51 is not used as much now as it was, mainly due to the radioactive elements. they also have waste buried on site, and they have a radioactivity alarm in case they get flare ups.

And what of the exemption? What was so important there to warrant it, why all the secrecy? Why deny its existance if it is just a normal base, and then admit it exists? And what of the lack of mention of the base's name in the exemption? If the base had a name at the time, why then was it referred to by Clinton as "the Air Force's operating location near Groom Lake, Nevada"?

it was a military base. that is why it was secret. it housed some of the nations most secret projects. this was during the cold war, and fear that the russians would obtain our technology was rampant. that is why it was so secret.
