Are you talking about them asking for rights to delay the election if necessary?

I'd rather go where it's warm!
Everybody always says canada (isn't that one of the dudes names in Akira?)... I mean great country an alll, but I'd much rather live like a king on 10 dollars a day in thailand or even vietnam hehe....
Yea, I know, kinda extreme ... but in these times, nobody knows!!!!
The constitution does not allow this!!!!
WE as citizens of this great country must uphold the constitution, over any type of provisional government's denial of democracy... unfortunately, too many fools truly believe the system isnt broke so what's there to fix... these are the exact same people who would capitulate and roll over to any lawman for anything without realizing they have certain undeniable rights within our democracy...
I need to quote a passage from the Hunter S. Thompson book "kingdom of Fear" Highly recommended!
"While the majority does 'rule' in our republican form of democracy, our Constitution was designed to protect certain rights and liberties from that majority, as well as for them. Recognizing that ' among deprivations of rights, none is so effective in cowing a population, crushing the spirit of the individual and putting terror in every heart... as uncontrolled search and seizure,' your Fourth Amendment foundation vigilantly stands guard against further encroachments upon the citizens' diminishing expectation of privacy."
there is so much more but alas ..... who cares
Buy a gun and be prepared...hehehe

OY! carrying a gun means ya gotta use it sooner or later. I can remember Ohio, and peace protests of the seventies, and lived through martial law during race riots, I am intimately familiar with the laws and regulations of the military because of my background, I think it is useful to project power when necessary to ensure that people with some common sense will be able to ascertain that violence will be met with violence. I beg all of you to see what happens to people in other countries when they challenge authority, we are most fortunate here in the U.S.

i don't understand why any of the al quada would even botther killing a few dozen people around an election.... well maybe..... i'm serprised they haven't say bomped a few power stations.... and a few water plants... not to mention say even attacked majority of canada's power supplies.... if canada and the US's power stations go down and water supplies..... were all screwed regaurdless of what happens.... Saskatchewan itself only uses a maginal not even worth noting amount of power that we ourselves produce..... majority of it all is sent to the states.... same with alot of our water runoff... down to the states.... they screw with these... and the building blocks of life today are destroyed...

Exactly...Spain cowered to the terrorist's demands, and what's the first thing that happened?
The terrorist's bombed Spain.

True enough the PM is not elected. He/She is placed into office by parliment. So the PM doesn't exactly set an election date per say. The parliment can vote a PM into office or can remove them via a vote of no confidence.
Usually the majority party has the votes to place the PM.

PoopyTheJ:
I just checked out that site, and I must say that it's a shame that this isn't the FLAME forum, so that I could really express my opinion of it.
Suffice it to say that that is the biggest bunch of 'loonytoons' that I've seen in a long time. NO sane person could possibly believe in all the ravings of that deranged bunch.

You cannot compare that site to CNN or MSNBC or FOX. You would be insane to do so. I seriously do not understand how you can take one peice of that site seriously, especially after that horrible photoshop at the top.

Well duh it's a horrible photoshop, it's meant to be in your face. Try reading up on Vox's history then tell me how full of it he is. CNN and MSNBC and FOX only print/report whats OK to report Vox gives yoiu like it is, before you get it like it is from a high caliber rifle pressed to the back of your head, by willing Bush youth.

MSNBC, Fox, and CNN have been around way longer than Bush. Are you saying they were silenced by willing Clinton youth?

This is on the same level as the morons saying the United States government planned 9/11. It is moronic to believe such a thing.

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep us in everlasting ignorance............that principle is contempt prior to investigation." Herbert Spencer
With the plethora of evidence out there absolutely contradicting the Official 9/11 story, and the wealth of information about Swat team traingin in schools, schoolbuses, foreign troops training in the US in domestic operations, slave camps being built in our backyards, I'll let the sleeping sheep get gutted nice and peaceful like. Me, I prefer to honor the founders of this country.
