since it's on this topic insted of reviving my own thread....

It should me know memebers of the kerry camp were at the premere. Kerry him self claims he's never seen the film and is keeping his distance from the topic

after the films debute kerry gained about $3,000,000 in added contributions

this move is really helping kerry

I did how ever hear this film is propaganda, for example the golf secene in all the adds was from a year before 9/11. he's takeing a lot of stuff out of context , out of time, twisting it to portay the image he want's...

BTW: Moore supports kerry if that means anything

(more people will be flocking for spider man 2)

I think moore did another great job as a filmmaker... he's stirring up discussions! Now, whether or not we should really be paying this much attention to it when there are 2 countries we are directly involved in military action with!

he twists quotes and video clips to change what they mean. i dont feel like having another convo about him right now though. there was recently an article on msn.com about this movie..it was called "unfairenheit 911"...do a search it's an interesting read

The Micheal Moore movie is a farce, and it cannot be taken seriously, its only merits are that it provides an alternative to other movies out there...but dont get me started...lol....it is utter crap...entertaining crap from a humorous standpoint, because it is full of inaccuracies and lies, it is aimed at G. Bush, a man who will be re-elected. M. Moore has produced other works of equal value, they are entertaining to, if you can see through the BS and see it as a farce. Having visited M. Moores website and listened to his diatribe on television, I can only assume he enjoys what he does, regardless of its value...lol. I recommend anyone to go and see it, I saw it with my son, once I dismissed it as a farce it was easier to see the twisted mind of M. Moore. I can only imagine why he picked Bush instead of Clinton, definitely more of a challenge for him...bwahahahhahahhahha....M. Moore is a complete ass, but in the context of his work, and based on the substence, his excremental technique can be entertaining...but then Shrek 2 might have been more interesting..My son is a democrat but he is more informed now, even he could see the innaccuracies of the movie...but hey.....thats hollywood and thats entertainment...enjoy....M Moore and G. Bush

good show ^-^ but if there is no profit in bashing Moore...he is just a fanatic, and there are lots and lots of fanatics, there is no law against stupidity or fanaticism as long as no one gets hurt, and no one really takes it seriously.

I personally don't want Bush back in office smart guy. I want Collin Powell in office. But that's not happening. Moore twists facts, and even fakes scenes in his "documentaries." I'm happy to accept anti-bush criticism when it's true.

As it has been stated, the moves concerning the WMDs were based on credible intelligence, which means that as far as they knew, they were there. It isnt lying if you didnt know the opposite. Besides, with all the new news concerning the WMDs, it doesnt matter.

You're gonna have to put a little more validity and support for your arguments if you're to convice anyone.

It is not my hope, nor my concern to convince anyone of anything.

As for the "credible intelligence": do you believe everything you hear? I don't - I'm not that naive. If the Clinton Administration lied; why not the Bush Administration? Is it so unheard of?

Smart guy is an expression. Just like smart ass.

Clinton twists facts, Bush twists facts. I don't think anyone expects any politician to tell the whole truth anymore (especially Kerry). So we all expect the President to be lying about certain things.

But when we watch a Documentary on the History channel we do expect the whole truth, without lying, tricky editing, false facts. We not only expect this, Documentary is defined as that.

Documentary: Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film.

But now we have Moore. The Media is mostly liberal, so he wins all sorts of awards for his "documentaries" without anyone doing any research into these until theatre release. One example, the Afghan pipeline was backed by CLINTON, NOT BUSH.

Then when research is done Moore defends himself as "giving his opinion" no matter who he's TRYING to HURT and DESTROY. You may not like Bush, but you'd certainly hate him if he dedicated an entire speech to Kerry being a Nazi and eating babies.

Moore takes advantage of the people. He attacks Republicans left and right when he wants, but never attacks Raegan, because everyone loved Raegan. He's an oppurtunist in the worst way. The way he looks and sounds reminds me of scum, as if his physical body is trying to show you what kind of person he really is.

He makes movies. And I will not say he needs to stop. Bowling for Columbine was full of lies and distortion but it was funny, especiall the KKK NRA cartoon, I almost cried, but even that was full of lies.

I will say that he needs to call his movies movies, not documentaries. Because they do not even fit the definition of documentary.

And yes, the point of an argument or debate is to let people see from your point of view, and hopefully convert them to your camp. What else would a debate be for?
