who the hell do the Americans think they are to tell us (Europe) what to do , why don't you yanks p!ss off and mind your own business instead of butting into other peoples business , Turkey will be allowed into Europe when WE decide not when you yanks decided , Turkey is like America poor human rights why doesn't the USA invite Turkey in the American union get into your thick skulls yanks we don't want your interferance

if you must know Turkey is nowhere near ready already their is 15 million turks in the european union as it exists today if we allow Turkey in that figure will double as Turkey is econimically f*cked , even the Ukraine , Serbia & Montenegro & Bosnia Herzigovina are better candidates at the moment and another reason Turkey is part of the middle east only Istanbul is in the European continent , why don't we let in Isreal as well while we're at it

its okay, I hear it form european people all the time. It is just the character of American diplomacy and politics that angers most people. Each successive administration has to deal with the European mentality every four years. It can be tiresome. Europe is rich in so many ways and blessed with culture and taste. But each new generation of European as it were must build on their respective countries accomplishments, We are no different. We (americans) have a nasty reputation of taking America with us when and where ever we go. Americans are arrogant and overconfident at first glance. But it is over 200 years of struggle and achievement that have brought us to the streets, skys and cultures of the world. America is number ONE in so many ways it just makes perfect sense for others in smaller or less developed countries to envy us. We have borders that leak in immigrants so we are constantly evolving. Look at all the illegal mexicans that refuse to stay in their own countries and improve it. No they would rather lie and cheat and scrape their way into our culture until they replace the people of spanish decent that were already here before we were. The chinese worked hard and established themselves. The asian immigrants work hard for their supper. I welcome Europeans from all countrys to come to America and improve it. Bring your knowlege and your intellect back to our shores before we are overrun with the inner city cancers and the illegal immigration across our borders. My tax dollars are spent providing medical care, shelter and an education to people that refuse to become part of our american culture. Preferring instead to perpetuate the La Raza myth, and becoming predators on our city streets, our schools and on the highways of our nation. I think if we strictly enforced our borders and used more force we could drive them back across the Rio Grande and back to their own country they are abandoning. Europe is dealing with their own immigration woes as well I know. And American is dealing with it own illegal immigration crisis and it is getting out of hand. I am conservative white anglo-saxon christian male and that might color my judgement, but my pocket book and my paychecks are smaller in part due to the overwhelming saturation of our borders with illegal aliens and their families (having babys). What right do they have to sneak, lie and cheat their way into our cities and our job market.? There is a race war being fought on our streets and it is being done insidously mile by mile by illegal immigrants pushing the American culture out and bring the culture of decay from their country. I believe the next great battle for America is the struggle to come to terms with the invasion across our borders by illegal immigrants. At least in Europe, the issue is almost moot.
Within the next hundred years the American Culture that I know will have decayed to the point that it will be transparent. From outside our borders and from within our inner cities, America is slowly dissolving.

You're an idiot and this post belongs in the FW, not in the PD forum.

Accepting Turkey into the EU wasn't an American idea, it was a European one. Do your research before you make frothing-at-the-mouth posts like this. And politically speaking, you'd have to be braindead to not recognize the utility and worth of having a Muslim ally in this day and age.
