Whats wrong with John Kerry?

excerpt of Liz Praveks opinion
the following is the opinion if you dont want to go to the aforementioned link:
Quote:
If the media microscope has shown us anything about John Kerry in the last month or so, it's that he has more skeletons in his closets than he wants us to know about, as witnessed by his apparent reluctance and inability to answer any question cleanly and clearly.

What's wrong with John Kerry? Even the media are turning against him, if ABC's Good Morning America's disastrous interview with Charlie Gibson was any indication. John Kerry can't seem to answer a question without passing the buck, fudging the facts, bending the truth, or just plain self-destructing. His past keeps coming back to haunt him; complete with pictures of himself demonstrating against not just the war in Viet Nam (yes, he served in Viet Nam), but against the American government; as the author of an antiwar book that depicts on its front cover a group of demonstrators spoofing the flag-raising on Mount Suribachi with an upside-down flag; pictures of him at an anti-war rally seated two rows behind Hanoi Jane Fonda; and photos of the goofy guy sporting a big flower-child daisy zipper pull. Whatever might be right with him is well-hidden, if any of the foregoing is any indication.

What's wrong with John Kerry? Whenever we see a new picture of him, he looks like he is terminally ill with a different, disastrous disease, or at least ravaged by time and the elements or bad surgery. One minute, his botoxed face is zombie-ish and stiff. The next, he appears haggard and careworn, with deep lines of fatigue. He reacts volcanically to any criticism or perceived slight or attack, hardly the behavior of a completely rational man. He should take a lesson from Howard Dean's campaign-ending primal scream. There are some of us who expect something similar from Kerry as soon as his hubris allows him to see the true way his campaign is going -- straight for the rocks and shoals of Hillary's submerged campaign for the same office.

What's wrong with John Kerry? Maybe it's his inability to find a position and stay there. He simply can't take a stand, and waffles and wavers repeatedly, when a simple "yes," or "no," would work perfectly. At least he's consistently inconsistent. Unfortunately, he projects the persona of a candidate who wouldn't even have the courage of his convictions, even if he had any. His condescension reveals his elitist snobbery, and adds to the image of a man who is not "of the People."

There are a lot of things wrong with John Kerry, not the least of which is this proclivity for flip-flopping, even on things that don't matter. So, he's either wrong, or he's got something wrong. Either way, he is a very poor choice for candidate for the Presidency, and the Democrat party is beginning to realize that he's probably a worse bet for the office than Howard Dean was. He performs badly on the live television shows, and presents himself as an emotional, short-tempered elitist with little to recommend him for any office, let alone the highest office in the land.

One thing about the race for the Presidency: If you have even the slightest thing in your background that you don't wish to become common knowledge, running for President is definitely not the way to keep such things hidden. Kerry brings so much political and personal baggage to the race that it virtually child's play for the press to dissect him…and he's their chosen one!

All in all, Kerry's candidacy is hanging by a thread. Is Hillary going to have to step in and rescue him soon, or is she going to wait until she is acclaimed and crowned at the Democrat convention? Whatever happens, the following few months are going to be extremely interesting for the rest of the country.

If anybody asks me what I think is wrong with John Kerry, the answer will have to be that he is the wrong man for the job, as well as a terrible candidate. But, even if everything in the world is wrong with John Kerry, he's still almost preferable to the alternative, which I perceive to be the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton. But John Kerry is so expendable that the Democrats will toss him over in a heartbeat if things go much worse for him. He's a disposable candidate, and his days may be numbered, especially if Hillary decides she needs to step in and "save" the country.

If that happens, all the rest of us will all be standing around asking each other what was so wrong with John Kerry, and the answer will still be, "PLENTY!" even if the alternative is to contemplate the nightmare of Hillary Clinton in the White House again.

Imagine the Democrats' predicament: Here they are, faced with two candidates of comparable Marxist leanings, each with so many skeleton-filled closets we may never come to the end of them. Democrats who find both options unthinkable will be faced with a decision which will very likely cause their heads to explode. Vote for Ralph Nader? Al Sharpton? If I was a Democrat voter, I would be frantic with worry that either Kerry or Hillary would make it into the Presidency. (Yes, I think there are Democrat voters who can actually process this kind of decision.)

The chances are very good that this dilemma will have resolved itself in six months or so. But in the meantime, those of us who don't have to make choices between John Kerry and Hillary can get our popcorn, open a can of barley pop, and put our feet up. This looks like it's going to be a very entertaining campaign.

Well this is the point where this article lost all credibility.

Those pictures were clearly shown to have been faked.

Who knows how much of the rest of it is true, if any.

All this is is a demonstration of people's willingness to believe anything, regardless of whether it's true or not, providing it suits their own political ends.

You love your propaganda you republicans don't you?

A nice little potted simplified and often invented version of reality that is easy for you all to grasp.

Well anyway, your welcome to it...
