yeah...I can expect alot of right wing support from them, not the techs, but the poeple who own and manage the industry, techs are like guitar players....a dime a dozen

well, bush wants to send people to mars by 2020. Sending a man to mars will happen, i just don't think it'll happen by 2020.

kerry is wanting to spend money on something a more feasable, improve current technology.

How does Kerry propose to do that. It was Kennedy's administration that insisted that Man get to the moon at any cost. That mentality persisted for years until some of our brave astronauts sacrificed themselves because of mis-management and faliures with the direction of the program. Bush wants to get Mars exploration on the map, but if it doesnt happen, we know that other countries will have it within their grasp very very soon. Mars has resources and is more commerically exploitable. Kerry wants to get elected, pure and simple. It will by Jimmy Carter all over again if Kerry steps one foot into the oval office. Kerry has been running for president since he joined the military, and look where that got him. He collects his medal and does a brief tour as an "officer" and earned some C time in Vietnam, but those that knew and served with him also speak with bitterness about their experiences with him. He is a blue blood east coaster now from Mass. I dont care for him, and was even inclined to listen to a rare recording he did with a group in college. But I wont believe the personal account he signed off on to get his medal. Lots of hardworking, honorable, brave and honest men went to Vietnam and died for their country, somehow, I wish Kerry did too, I would have more respect for him.
