Saudi Proposal?
I was just curious to know what everyone's thoughts are concerning the Saudi announcement of turning yourself in if you are "bad".......yet with no promise of not getting the death penalty. I heard this morning that at least 1 person had turned themselves in.

I dont really think that they are even going to go after BL......I think that they just want all the dip shit's that are killing people in the name of there religion....and yet are doing nothing more than going against the written word. To many innocent people have died.....that looks bad on the Royal family.....

The best would be if the Saudi Royal family turned themselves in and if the Bush family stopped doing business with them since the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia are almost equal to Saddam when it comes to opressing its people.
But then....unlike Saddam...they are open for business.

Well I think most countries want to see a stable Saudi Arabia due to the fact that they supply a good deal of oil to the world. Imagine what would happen if oil stopped flowing out of Saudi Arabia. It would be a financial catastrophe for a lot countrys.

Bin Laden is a direct threat to the Saud family, even though he is indirectly related, and without our help, he would have usurped the power of the royal famliy long ago, and assumed power in that region.

but ironic, IRAQ was artificially created by Europe at the turn of the last century, if their mittens werent in it for the oil and power, this issue or issues would be moot, jus warring tribes of two distinct muslim beliefs. And I recall a democrat referring to Bush as starting the war on terrorism recently...how far from the truth....terrorists started the war on terrorism...no he. If any man can drive the terrorists into the dust and grind their bones it is Bush, he has demonstrated some restraint, but when he is re elected, the tide will turn..
