Nick Berg Video Discussion - READ THE FIRST POST
A forum member has asked if it is appropriate to discuss the video further. I am allowing it on the condition, without exceptions, that no links to the video, links to screencaptures of the video, or any direct indication of where the video can be downloaded be posted. I expect anyone posting in this thread to follow this simple condition, and hope that everyone understands that failure to obey this rule and the spirit of this rule may result in banning. I don't want to stifle discussion, but this video is content that does not belong on the boards; this is the only acceptable alternative I can find. Feel free to procede within this limit.

Is it legal, if a person asks you for the video via PM, to send them the link via PM?

morbid is almost not strong enough.....its quite disturbing in my opinion. I mean, seeing that happen on video is quite nasty. I would not recommend watching the movie.

I have no desire to see the video, not the slightest interest in seeing someone killed, and killed rather horrifically at that. I want to thank Toshiro for opening this thread as I did have a question/theory regarding this video. I think that it is not beyond the pale of reason to assume that this video may not be what we're being told it is. Think about it, who stands to gain from this video? The US. The Us was under all sorts of scrutiny regarding prisoner abuse etc, and wham here you go custom tailor made diversion. Secondly we have the CIA which under ashcroft has been allowed once again to start their COINTELPRO antics up wherever they please. COINTELPRO for those who don't know is the program which put out the Black Panther coloring book. Made to look like it was made by the black panthers the book taght children, black children to go out and kill whitey and gave em nice pictures to draw showing how to murder the whites. The CIA put it out, not the black panthers and sent it to whites to increase racial tension and discredit the Black Panthers. Secondly, it's always beneficial for a government to have an enemy, if you have to make one up or, make up a story about a current enemy thats fine. The CIA is a nasty organization, with the benefits of this video far outweighing the downside, it's hard to say that it's really what we're being told.

The CIA more than just an organization, and nasty is an understatement. Bigger than the presidency, bigger than public opinion, and no matter how much the democrats complain, they would depend on the same mechanisms to perform their jobs effectively.

True, the democrats probably would, I think it instructive to note that JFK had made the commitment to destroy the CIA and scatter them to the winds shortly before being assassinated, under which of course are not the most clear cut circumstances. Interestingly enough as well, John Hinckley was a friend of George Bush Sr, who was of course the former head of the same CIA.

I recommend everyone see it atleast once, so they can make their own decisions about wether or not it's fake.
If you haven't seen the video, you have no place debating it's legitimacy.

I'm not debating whether the video is real or not, I'm debating the story OF the video. The background we're being told about the video. I've seen screen captures, I think everyone has, it's not the authenticity of the video itself being debated, simply the story of the video.

That is correct BUT if they act like you claim....that they a bigger than life itself...then they are a problem and should be dismanteled crushed and destroyed and replaced by something else.
The general idea is that the people control the nation. Not its intelligence in a democratic nationa as Usa.
The intelligence is supposed to carry out what elected politicians say....nothing else.
They are NOT supposed to be bought by anyone...for political or economic reasons.

I think the CIA is llike everything else. It has corrupt people and non-corrupt people. But I think it is in no way as big of a conspiracy as it is being made out to be here.

If someone PMs you asking for a link, you may give them the link. It is a Private Message.

good advice Dominati, beheadings are nothing new to me, the occured and still occur in Saudi Arabia for lesser crimes, under a form of Islamic Law, it is entirely possible for westerners to be dealt with the same way. It is analagous to being hung for horse stealing less than one hundred years ago in the United States.
And Blue, the CIA is just one organization that works in concert with other foriegn agencies to monitor and contain threats within and outside a countrys borders. The CIA will never be dismantled as it were, it is just too big, I saw the machine work effectively in other countrys and what the media reports as factual evidence of involvement in country overthrows and insurgency, and terrorism (believe it or not) makes the anti western pro muslim countrys terribly pessimistic about maintaining anything more than a tenous alliance with the west. The European countries also have simliar mechanisms for dealing with security threats as well. That is why I dont believe a damn thing the media reports but I can you tell for a fact that the average citizen of the world has absolutely no idea what wheels are turning to maintain and contain terrorist threats to western powers and even within some muslim countries. We are all terribly naive with respect to the fantastic power of the intelligence community, that is why I keep a low profile overseas if I go anywhere.

Well in that case.....time to ask yourselves ...who rules this nation...we or a bunch of secret agents...commanded by ...who?Or the peoples votes?
If the answer is the first then i strongly suggest a revolution to see to it that what the founding fathers of Usa started is preserved and maintained.
Freedom isnt a statric condition and it is threatened in time everywhere by ANYONE who has an interests that is crossed by its existance...Even in the land of the free.

Bluelight, THE CIa most certainly has more power than congress, or the whitehouse. They call the shots in the dark when noone is there to see it. But the thing is the USA is full of a bunch of apathetic unthinking ignorant babied morons, who since they have 2 nickels in thier pocket figure their free and will listen to any story concoted by the government to explain whats scary and wrong in the world. Their certainly not going to think too in depth about it or god forbid DO anything about it! Where are you from? I can't think that you're any more free than we in the USA are, why has there not been a revolution there?

Wow you guys must like conspiracy theories. The CIA's only work is outside the country. The FBI is its opposite, it works inside the country. CIA has broken the rule and operated inside the US before but it is not supposed to. But they are not more powerful then the whitehouse in any way shape or form.

www.google.com - "Who rules America?"
http://www.natvan.com/who-rules-america/
Err.. Never heard of these guys, but they seem to know "Who rules America"
"And as it is with TV entertainment, so it is also with the news, whether televised or printed. The insidious thing about this form of thought control is that even when we realize that entertainment or news is biased, the media masters still are able to manipulate most of us. This is because they not only slant what they present, but they establish tacit boundaries and ground rules for the permissible spectrum of opinion."
That part caught my attention... That's what I've been saying all along. Damn TVs are evil!

Im from Sweden and the Cia has its finger down the cookie jar here too :-)
Currently the Swedish government has big problems explaing why they allowed 8 Americans Cia agents transport two Egyptians that were accused of terrorism to Egypt in order to be trialed.
We dont allow foreign intelligence to operate within our borders but when orders come from Big daddy......
And....both of the Egyptians now seem to have been tortured after having been delivered....
Revolution here? Well we need one... not a violent...we sure need a spiritual one that takes us back just thirty years when people actually helped each other instead of jumping on the heads of others ....but...with the rule of Reagan and Thatcher in the eighties...began the dance around the golden calf.
I read somewhere that since then the differences in income in Usa has benn set back to the level of the twenties.I dont know if that is true or not but where i am these differences have widened very much.
The rich have become VERY much more rich and the REALLY poor have become many more.
But that is the way it is under the rule of the golden calf...

Income sset back to the way it was in the 20s? I don't think we've fallen that far, but maybe in a rational sense, we have...
The average person makes around 50-80k a year. Cars are around 20-30k (braggable ones, that is), and bills out the wazzoo. So, I dunno if you could really consider a "Buck a day" to apply to this "150 bucks a day", but maybe...
However, it does sound somewhat like sweden, and America have a lot in common... Strange governmental happenings, poverty, and gold calves..
Be a great day in time when capitalism burns.

Capitalism will never burn in this country and I don't think anybody would like that to happen. Unless of course there anarchists. Cause that is what you would have if it would ever come about.

The video is obviously doctored. Right before the execution takes place, you can see that the camcorder's clock jumps ahead almost a minute and a half. Somebody is up to something here...

Wrong.... When capitalism dies, governmental reform will need to take place, and the country will be at it's weakest point.
Revolution will soon follow, and things will start to change.
