Boots In The Sand & Sen Kennedy
I know that forces installed since the cessation of first campaign in IRAQ want to avenge the lives of their fellow countrymen, but since the four private security personnel (american citizens) were killed in an attack last week, it seems there is renewed interest in weeding out dissident elements within the triangle of death. I personally and with great reservation feel that our time there has ended. The IRAQI people cannot be led to water and then forced to drink. The only thing that is polarizing the Iraqi people is the occupation of coalition forces. This is a "lose - lose" situation. If the Polish troops are allow to continue they will no doubt begin eliminating the heads of the IRAQI resistance, they are damn good, and wont hesitate to kick in anyones door to get back at these insurgents.
I am sickened at Senator Kennedy's lack of wisdom, and absolute lack of respect for the president, it seems the legacy of the Democratic party to take cheap shots when the chips are down. He enjoys freedom of speech as all do, but he could have couched his language and criticizms with better judgement.......To Hell with Senator Kennedy. A man who couldnt even rescue a woman that was a passenger in his own car. He can bitch about Bush, but can he say Chappaquickeq?

So what did Kennedy say?
BTW Jeff I don't think it works too good any more to try to devalue someone's arguments because of their past. We have all screwed up when we were young. Some of us were lucky and got away with it, some of us didn't.
But sooner or later - providing they don't screw up big time again - or at least don't keep doing it - you got to let them move on. What someone did 40 years ago is probably not a very good reflection of who they are now.
But in any case Teddy Kennedy was always a political lightweight. So not much to get worked up about there.
But it is true, the harder you hit back the more resentment you will breed - the more resentment you breed - the more people will die. It is an unwinable situation. And each day the death toll rises and the costs spiral ever more out of control. It is not too hard to see how the Iraqis might eventually be led to the conclusion that democracy at gun point is hardly a democracy at all.
I don't think it's a deal we would accept. Nor I expect will they.

I think it is very effective. Kennedy takes shots at Bush because of the collective blunders of the CIA, that having been said, the mere fact that I lost my respect for the Kennedys long before I even considered Pres. Bush's motives is important to me, Politics make strange bedfellows. I dont think Kennedy would have an ice cubes chance in hell if he tried to do what Bush has done and still remain politically viable, Kennedy rests on his Laurels I suppose.
sorry Bluelight but we lost the server for the site, so hang on to your pics for now or show there mere in HV if you like.
