Minister Christine Daniel Arrested

I really can't begin to fathom the relevance of the charges brought against this person. It is obvious to see that even though she is being brought to court for her "actions" that the prosecution doesn't even really know why.

I don't know about US, but I think that it's illegal to claim that you can cure certain diseases in some countries. Also, if I were a suspicious person, I would have probably found the fact that she got over $1,000,000 from her patients by selling them a herbal concoction saying that it would help with different types of cancer, Alzheimer, hepatitis and god knows what else smelling of fraud. On top of that, she stated to the police that she had never practiced alternative medicine for cancer nor talked about a 60% success rate, which seems like an obvious lie.

I'd look into her patients' survival rate before making a judgement, but she seems like a particularly soulless fraud who should be jailed for a very, very long time.

This witch should be executed , she has deceived many and caused death to 4 people according to the article.

Judging by the demographic she targeted, it's likely that those people would have died in the same timespan anyway. At least I like to think that she didn't harm them physically even if she did take their money and didn't help either, it's sad enough that way.

I agree that anyone believed her must have been too silly or that was the last hope for them so they did that. But actually she abused them and it appears that she didn't tell their "preys" about fail rate.

Sometimes all people need is a Placebo...... she gave them that..

nothing wrong with that either..... because were being fed quite often placebo's from certified doctors and pharmacies.

How can you even think that she "is" physically responsible for her patients deaths? She is "NOT" the cause of the cancer that has obviously subdued these people not her.

I know for a FACT that alternative medicine does help people who are terminally ill. My grandmother benefits from my personal experience in this field and our relationship has built and taken a far more solid road I know this, I AM sure.

Considering that mentally there is more involved the most people realize that directly affects them physically..

Fixing someone physically isn't gonna solve the problem if mentally they are causing harm to themselves physically without actually apparently physically doing it.

The mind, it is extremely powerful, more then most people will ever understand/know/fathom.

doctors are not there to heal you..they want you on pills for the rest of your life..only that generates the desired revenues in the pockets of the governments, pharmaceutical industry and the doctor.

It's globally the same game everywhere - health has become the most mischievous industry on this planet and it is still perfectly legal.

Are you saying that, for example, people can't overdose themselves with non-synthetic drugs? There are probably thousands of herbs out there whose extract, applied in the right amount, could take a man out, especially one with seriously damaged health. The fact that some alternative remedies do help doesn't make them all good.

The woman made a fortune on desperate people's misery by selling them a little bit of false hope that some herbs and a miracle will save them. That's basically what pyramidal banks do, take desperate people's last savings offering them false hope that the bank will somehow be able to pay the crazy interests and save them, only in those cases people don't die in the end.

This discussion shouldn't be about the question if alternative medicine works or not, because it does. But what she practiced wasn't alternative medicine.
