I haven't even seen the movie and I agree with you!

Though I may not be well versed in either candidates tax policy I do not understand why McCain is so adamantly against raising taxes when the nation is in serious financial trouble that seems like a no brainer. You've got Bush giving out huge cheques to everyone in the country and all these tax cuts then a massive debt...doesn't anyone put 2+2 together?

How is it that you think and advocate that burdening corporations and individuals with even more taxation will be the answer to economic problems?
Liberals are all the same...they promote class warfare to get votes, insist on taxing the very base of people who promote the most employment and then suggest that it's a wise thing to do to stabilize the economy.
In case you were not paying attention, the Treasury Department was the entity that endorsed the Economic Stimulus package promoted by the President.
Are you suggesting that it's not a good idea to put money back into the taxpayers hands while we bail out all the corrupt people on Wall Street who took all the money that flooded the market and pissed it away with a "sky is the limit" mentality?
The problem was never about an Economic
Stimulus being squandered in the first place and it sure as hell didn't cause our economic woes.

Obama's energy policy is not the first one being trotted out over the last 4 decades that will succumb to the pressure of lobbyists and special interests.
In fact, he criticizes McCain's plan to drill now because it won't increase short term supply while he notes that his policy will take 10 years to REDUCE dependence.
He also insinuated that he was for clean coal technologies and nuclear during the debate while he has criticized the plan in the past and sucked up to Greenpeace while suggesting that nuclear waste was a problem.
His policy isn't change. It's more of the same.

As for McCain, I've watched him ignore so many debating points where he could have had Obama pinned down on issues where he had contradicted himself, I can only conclude that he's not quick enough on his feet to handle the job of president.

Like the bumper sticker mentality crowd says......

Election 08'....Who gives a shit?

Re: Unable to Win on Issues, McCain Ads Go 100% Negative

The Economic "Bailout" was voted on for two very different reasons, Chillbilly, The Democrats voted on it to keep everyone that worked on the non executive side of the house EMPLOYED. The republicans voted on it simply because of their bullshit ideology that money tends to trickle downward, which is a notable mentality but is in fact INFUCKINGCORRECT. Let me break it down for the republican fan boys we obviously have here that are very much misinformed.

You keep claiming republicans Are for small government, non taxation, fiscally responsible.......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

All I've got to say for that is, Bush.

Liberals may live on the fringe, but they are far more fiscally sound then republicans can claim to be in over 100 fucking years.

I am outraged you people believe in this horseshit, and if we eliminate all these taxes how exactly do you propose to keep the budget in line? Eliminate all the programs that are in place? Did you forget that Food stamps are federally subsidized, have you ever used them, or know anyone that has? 1 in 3 americans uses em. So That goes to show how "well off" we are. People are clipping coupons, looking for new deals, and America is well off? The only taxation reduction I actually agree with is, Capital gains, which unfortuently will never be done away with by democrats. However, it's small price to pay for living in the greatest country you'll ever live in. If you don't like it try living in one of the countries we've pissed off.

You know Republicans just tick me off because their talking points are the same 6 things.

Terroisms
Taxes
Abortion
Liberals are Crazy/idiots/etc
Gay Marriage
How they are so much better for us, the American people.

Let's break it down real simple

6 years was republican controlled congress, republican controlled white house. Where are we at? Damn near depression, however because of the modern global economy, it probably won't reach that far.

Clinton may have had a "recession" at the end of his presidency, but the tech bubble was going to burst no matter what, not to mention that there is always ages of prosperity followed by some recession as economies adjust to new mechanics (You should all have learned this is in 101 economics) But at least the Democrats can BALANCE THE FUCKING BUDGET AND NOT ADD 3 TRILLION TO THE NATIONAL DEBT AND THEREFORE LOWER THE VALUE OF THE DOLLAR WHICH IS THE FUNDAMENTAL THING HOLDING OUR ECONOMY THE FUCK UP.

Great job on screwing that over too.

You can say Obama is a fucking nut terroist, muslim, messiah whatever the hell you want, it's your opinions, But you can not deny that democrats at least make fucking SENSE. He may be a corrupt politican, he may be a fucking idiot, he may be unproven, he may be a total wacko once he takes the presidency, but how is that any different then any other damn candidate? It simply amazes me that everyone goes REPUBLICANS MAN THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER FOR US. How? and their answers are always the same. Because "insert name here" is blah blah blah.

By the way his tax plan, requires small busineses to net profit 250,000 in order to tax them 1500 more, So you still get 248,500 in profit. We're not talking about yearly revenue, we're talking about PROFIT. Because According to the OUTLINE of the plan, you have to actually be taking home that money. Which is different then if you're employed and making 250,000+ But guess what, if you're making that much, you're not really hurt by 1500, are you?

You all need to read up on your history apparently, it was FDR that got us out of the last fuggin mess. He got us out of the Depression, got help to the elderly and sick, oh yeah and FOUGHT WORLD WAR 2, oh yeah, and a democrat. Which is absolutely hysterical because republicans act as if democrats won't fight over what is right. No they do fight, only with one thing you republicans seem to have forgotten about, honor. Not to mention the fact that Obama's Rallies don't go yelling KILL EM!

I don't see why the Republican's are worried, they'll just fix the voting machines anyway and then block anyone from doing any testing on them.

Obama is going to win no matter what tricks the Republicans try to pull. This one's in the bag.
