Will the bailout work? World holds its breath

After two weeks of anguishing debate, Congress has passed and President Bush signed a massive plan to save the financial industry and the economy at large from an unthinkable free fall. Now, the world holds its breath, seeing if it will work.

typical for MSNBC..
anguishing debate?
more like bi-partizan sniping and bickering.
I noticed MSNBC is becoming like the British Press.

all we are doing is bailing out banks/building societies that have acted irresponsibly and by bailing these clowns out we are adding more crippling debt to our economies ... the credit based business policy was never going to work because at some point we had to pay the credit back and take the pain that goes with it ... what has been made clear ... the majority cannot handle the pain of paying back their debts that they are looking for a quick fix to delay having to pay back what they owe and that is why it will eventually fail

Re: Will the bailout work? World holds its breath

The "bailout" is an attempt at a temporary fix and does not address the symptoms of failure.
America is fast becoming a nation that cannot produce it's way out of it's status as a debtor nation.
The political wrangling was nothing more than a minor freak show.
The Fed runs this country and the politicians are merely puppets dangling from strings being held by the hands of the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury.
