Well first....actually...some people have a big problem with ...blacks...arabs...jews..or whatever.

I dont think i belong to that cathegory.


Next...Expressions.....this is a question of political correcteness....

It is by period NOT OK to name things for what they are.

Depending on where you are and your nations history these things differ from nation to nation.'


For some the expression negroe is...a "non expression" ..which is funny since its exactly the same thing as saying a person is white or eskimo its just that the expression "black" is at the moment ...more politically correct....There are even those that are afraid of using the expression "black" since any kind of cathegorising humans would be considered as something bad....

You could also take the expression..."nigger"...which was politically correct to say up until the sixties in large parts of Usa...that is no longer politically correct....other than.....among "blacks" or "negroes" that want to distance themselves from "the white community" and has adapted the word nigger as an identification of someone opressed.

For right or wrong...


Some words are of course non acceptable also for me but describing jews as jews,muslims as muslims or christians as christian does not belong to that cathegory.

Palestinians have less value in Israel than Jews.There are laws and restrictions that apply to Palestinians that does not apply to Jews.There is a constant effort to isolate Palestinans from their land.
Palestinians live in "homelands" and go to work in Israel much in the same manner as was used in South Africa.

Israel is a segregated society.

No point in denying it because it is a fact.


That..is politics...based on race..so...attack the politics...and not the racial belonging is the thing to do.

I understood the differences between peoples, culturally, racially, ethnically, and religious create implied divisions between them. In any country, even in Africa, your tribe, where you are from, or what you eat can instantly set you apart from others and you can be discriminated. The incidents, wars and historical facts indicate, that it doesn't matter what any difference is between peoples, there is going to be conflict till they merge, unite, join, or tolerate each other for a common goal..Adults have to teach their children to hate someone else because of their differences, children normally play and get along with each other.

When you speak of aparthied in Israel or Palestine the common denominator upon which most of the problem is based on is the struggle for ancestoral lands. In my limited experience, Palestininians and Israeli's clash over the occupation of each others lands..And Ironically, they are one in the same. Two peoples that have differences now, but at one time were almost identical in many respects...Over the last 60 years the influx of Zionists bent on rebuilding their anscestral homeland in Israel carved out their nation among the Palestinians who occupied all of it. I think the British clearly saw the future conflict brewing and attempted to thwart their attempts to reestablish a homeland for the jews migrating from Europe and they unsuccessfully attempted to suppress the growth. When Israel won it's independence 50 years ago the struggle to regain control of the west bank and Gaza became paramount, as well as border clashs. The grip on the palestinian people became tighter and tighter of course, in direct response to the struggles on the city streets and the removal of dwellings of palestinian families, this in my view was a crime, forcing the palestinians into tightly packed camps, or forcing them to live on the fringes of arable lands they once occupied or killing them outright either in direct assualts or with guerrilla tactics has deeply divided the world opinion on the validity of state of Israel and the state of Palestine.
I for one believe that one day the lands both of these peoples are fighting for will be occupied by both, a peace will exist between them...but not with Arafat or Sharon in power...
Their are lots of moderate palestinian voices and lots of moderate Israeli voices that resist conscription and resist efforts on each side to shoulder arms against each other...One day perhaps they will drop their weapons and work on a common goal, supporting the lives of their families in a land whose resources are desperately shrinking all the time....
I agree, that without western support, Israel wouldn't exist. but the same can be said for the palestinians, without outside support, the Israeli government might well have completely forced them from all the lands they once occupied 60 years ago..
I purposefully avoided discussing the conflicts that existed for thousands of years in Palestine and Canaan because it too was culturally and religiously based..
If I were a muslim, I might point out that jews were tolerated in these lands long before the crusades, and then upon the wars that followed, christians and jews fought and died for faith and fortune, and for what? Because the struggle still continues..
I think the element that divides Israel and Palestine is the battle for ancestral lands..more than anything else.

My friends from Zimbabwe that i am currently helping....togheter with others to get a permanent permssion to stay in Sweden ... i figure i have a problem if i refer to them as negroes?

it has nothing to do with your use of the word jews. it is context & content. maybe it is just that you are not as comfortable with the english language & things are coming out different than what you mean. that is why i did the transposition of the word black into that one paragraph. as far the rascist thing goes i do not recall seeing that in my post. re-read it. your are right about the " not being able to reply to my freinds" i apologise that was unfair. i will edit that. i am just trying to point out to you that when you make constant negative posts about a religious group that are based partly on conjecture & opinion there is very few ways to interpret that.
