Bush is just a figure head, he simply represents a bunch of vested interests. When the Republicans were looking around for an electable commodity, no doubt they looked at him and thought that people might be dumb enough vote for him because they remembered the family name. It looks like it worked pretty well.

But arguing whether Bush is a dumbass twat or not is pretty poinless , you say he isn't I say he is. So what are you going to do about it?

I think that whether we agree with him or not we should support him. Because you not supporting him will not do anything

Also, i know i may have come off harsh in my last post. I am not out to make enemies... i dont want to piss you off and thats not what i was trying to do. I just support Bush and will support him anywhere...

What I objected to was that kid trying to tell me Bush was president of the world. He sure aint my president - and I reserve the right to tell anybody that trys to tell me he is to shove that particular idea sideways up a very dark place. I think you should get off Jeff's case too, he is one of the few people here that pretty much everyone gets along with. Just because he pointed out you were being an ass with some of the things you were saying doesn't mean you should go on the offensive. He was actually doing you a favour. I mean surely you know just how much rubbish you were talking with some of the things you were saying? Why would you want to embarrass yourself even more? Why not just accept it and move on?

Anyway I can't remember if this is the thread TC threatened to close, but maybe he should. These threads are just decending into petty squabbling and there doesn't seem to be much useful left to say.

Maybe Byteme, The NeonCowboy and BWX232 can all go off together and form a mutual appreciation society. In the mean time I have more important and constructive things to do with my time.

jeff called me an "upstater" - I cannot respond without you telling me about it? I have not insulted anyone, I have just as much of a right to post here as people who don't like Bush and don't like America, in fact you have used more insulting words than me, I have stayed calm and argued with people in a respectful way.
I bash Saddam and BinLaden when needed, yes-- and when people hint of supporting them I ask why or ask for clarification. There is nothing wrong with that. Saddam is a murdering baby killer, so is Bin Laden. I think everyone agrees with that. I have been very careful not to insult anyone, even when I am being called names and basically being insulted myself.

There is nothing wrong with debating and arguing about a subject- as long as it doesn't degrade into a name calling session. You see my point of view, I see yours, we discuss why we disagree. People have been doing that since the beginning of time. Why give up? Why call me names? Tell me why I am wrong. Don't just run away. Most of the time I laugh at the things I hear- I don't get all pissed off, I just tell people why I think they are wrong -IF I do. I don't understand the seriousness from you, the hostility. We aren't in a fist fight- we are defending our views, be glad you can, some people don't have that right.

I don't support him, I don't give a damn about him. He's not my president, never will be, not this side of reality he isn't, nor is he ever likely to be. So like I said, I still think he's an ass - and there isn't a hell of a lot you can do about it, except maybe implode. Anyhoo, at 16 I don't expect you would remember Reagan. I used to think he was dumb - but as it turned out he was just suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's. But even though he was a tad nuts and not the smartest card in the deck, as a presdident he knocks spots off of G. W. any day of the week. After all, he at least helped win the biggest war of all time, the cold war - and he did that without even needing to fire a shot. But again, at 16, I don't expect you will remember anything about that.
