I don't think voting Democrat will have any impact on US policy. You saw how turning the senate over to the Democrats has gone. The 2006 vote was supposed to be a referendum on the war and the Democrats gained power based on opposition. Has anything changed? Yes, we are sending more troops.
Most of the pre election talk will be empty retoric aimed at voter profiles not actual policy changes.

I wasn't saying that it would be attacked, so much as absorbed. I don't ascribe that people are fighting for Islam. There is something much more complex and political hiding behind the veil of Islam.
