Iran
So what do you all think?
It's so hard to believe the spew coming off the major media channels about how they are wanting to get nuclear weapon grade uranium, blah, blah, blah, after the numerous stories on why we invaded Iraq.

watched something interesting on Discovery last night. It's a complex issue, as is the rest of the mid-east policy. Something needs to change, the US policy, UN sanction enforcement, ect.. It just seems to me the western world has been doing the same thing for so long, and it has all gone poorly, yet we insist on continuing in the same direction. I hope we don't invade, because it will turn just like it did the the 1970's, which pretty much brings us to the sorry state of affairs we are in right now. While I wont say I have the answers, I don't believe the "exporting democracy" one bit, and never have. It is nothing you can teach, it is something learned within.
One thing is for sure, everyone (US, UK, Mid-east, everyone) is going to have to forgive and forget the problems in the past, holding 50 year grudges and waiting for appologies seems to be half the problem.
A great quote from last night...
"We used to pray at home, and go out to drink. Now we drink at home and go out to pray" - An Iranian Doctor on the changes since the Bush Administration...

I watched it too but it was total BS. Their leader's saying something totally different at the UN and all of a sudden they are nice to the media and that old dude when he comes by. Don't believe the propaganda.

I certainly didn't see them as putting on a front. How many times did they chant "death to america, death to Bush". I don't understand your response, care to elaborate?

If I was the kind of a person that places bets, I would say I would bet everything I have that Iran is trying to acquire nuclear weapons.
Apart from that, the whole region is a big fuck up. I am in favour of withdrawing, everything, making sure the supply of oil is steady, one way or another, and let them kill each other, again and again.

I personally think nukes are Tehran’s aims, but not everyone seems to think so:

Empty posturing seems to be a fatal personality trait for Middle East leaders.
As much as the US can be faulted for not understanding the Islamic mindset, Korea, Afganistan, Iran and Iraq just don't get it that playing the nuke card is a bad idea.
It's like a wannabe gang banger walking into the police station and saying he wants to get a gun and shoot all cops because that will make him a big man and people will take him seriously. It ends with him dead and the police cracking down on gun violence.
Take a lesson from Khadafi. He got a taste of what could happen to him and he backed off. Saddam did not and he is on death row. Now Iran and Koera want to test the world. The track record is not good for this kind of thing.

The propaganda is the assumption they were referring to 'drinking alcohol' - but they didnt say what they drink specifically - most likely its tea.

A while ago I heard some very disturbing information about how most of the arab states have been sold information and technology from a company run by a pakistani scientist ,im not going to use his name, but it seems very likely that that information is the same source as the North Korean's have used for their bomb,But as allways i never believe all I hear.
The Iranians sure want to join the nuke club,so does Gadafi, wouldnt you in their position?

I do not personally know any middle eastern women. My brother has a couple of friends in Iraq that have written to him. They said that the women and children want them out of there as bad as the soldiers. We are leaving allot of widowed women and children with no fathers. They hate us for it. I do not think middle eastern women are that hot. I would take a black american women any day. Black chics are hot.

im not kidding about the hot women.... but thats not my reason for not wanting them bombed. its too much too define why to do it or why not to. persian women are hot, as are arabs. just not the traditional ones.
funny thing, iranians are mainly muslim but the ones I know in toronto all around are heavy drinkers and party goers. they actually have a number of crews and gangs here as well. my condo is full of persians and koreans, as much as i love asian bitches the persians do top them in my condo.
too many hardcore americans, they would proably want the whole condo demolished due to a "nuclear threat" too close to home (downtown toronto is where I am). ahhahaha i'm messin

So we shouldn't nuke them all and keep a few women for breeding for BiGBrOwNPimpsta?
Hey if we can't joke about this crap that is happening in the world what can we joke about. The terrorist activity poring out of the cracks of Iraq, and whatever other middle eastern country that decided they hated Americans today, will never stop until we take serious steps to stop it. And if dropping nuclear weapons serves that purpose then I am all for it. We just need to save BiGBrOwNPimpsta a couple ladies for his condo.
