We are all one,
nobody should be killing , what is the point,
kill one man, his son retaliates.They kill back, angry because their father was needlessly killed.kill the son,his cousin will kill to avenge.kill him ,his friend will,At some point in time return to you or your family,as a terrorist or guerilla or a soldier, who cares what label the gun is given.

A game of death,as it is.Thats all our power politics are,as i said before, What is a country but just a collection of people,at least they have a cease fire now,lets prey that it holds.

I for one have nothing to give but friendship,i pity anyone who wants to kill the arabic/islamic peoples,I have been to an Iranian ladys for a meal tonight and they a good people,she is a refugee in England (she is a Christian through).
I certainly dont want any Isrealis to die ether.

Ive read about how the war was ok'd before it was even started ,how stupid do our leaders think we are.
Im not even going to waste my anger on this matter.We should change our policies because I can see a worse situation coming, no doubt about it.Im not a doo gooder,im just talking on, I know i am powerless ,at least I can roughly see what is going on.

The people who believe in bible literally ,will get that great war in the bible, if they make it happen.

It is good for people to believe in their country and be patriotic,This positive energy should be used for good,not destruction.The real enemy is not islam its our own greed,fear and intolerance of other peoples cultures.

Israel is fighting this like how conflicts and wars should be fought. Unlike the US who's new motto is loose one drop one (aka only fire when one of ur soldiers gets shot) The Israeli government has called upon they millitary and let them loose. The millitary is an efficient killing machine and should be used as such, not to play nice and have their soldiers killed. Israel did the right thing, drop leaflets telling everyone to get the hell out of there and destroy anything seen as a threat. Truthfully the millitary is a horrible thing and should only be used as a last resort, but once sent loose there should be no strings attached if you want the job done effiecently.

Also the only thing we hear is what is on the news. Keep in mind that it profits on human tragedy and death.

Its like this man, a Hezbollah soldier is firing at your squad behind a civilian. If he continues he will or already has wounded/killed soldiers? What do you do? Say excuse me sir can you move that civilian out of your way so I can blow your brains out? I think not.

In wars people die

I wouldn’t be making a fuss if it was just an isolated incident. Some “collateral damage” is to be expected. My point is it is constantly happening. Israel sees something that could potentially be something of military value so bombs it without confirming what the target actually is. That’s not good enough when there are civilians in the area (an as ive already shown, its not their own fault for being there). Ive searched for the incident, oddly enough had trouble finding it in the BBC or CNN sites. But I found one on a wonderful site that I know you love: Reuters

The army does not have a free hand, and it shouldn’t. The military should only use force when attacking a confirmed military target or defend themselves from an attack. Does a police officer have the right to shoot you if you are not threatening the life of him or someone else? no. Does he have the right to shoot at your car because you could be trafficing drugs? no.

The current political climate in Israel is pretty dangerous for anyone that supported the war in the beginning. Although everyone stood behind the planners for the Lebanese conflict now even both sides, the moderate and the conservative political leaders claim that the whole conflict was mismanaged and have even accused the Israeli war planners of pulling out of the conflict too soon. People in Israel still want revenge for what they see as a stop gap measure to created a DMZ along the border again using the UN and the Lebanese army, but historically this has never worked.
IMO, eradicating the combatents and their leaders and eliminating the source of the weapons is the only answer. That having been said, it is pointless to pursue peace with either side, this will be decided much later when Russian and Syria get involved much deeper than they are now...
