sapphire x800 pro mod
i have the above card. has vivo, and the yellow connector..
472.50/452.25, but not 1.6mem. has 2.0. can i open the 4 pipes on this card?? i'm pretty much a novice and hope its ok to post.... drea  |

i've read that article til my head hurts.. doesn't make any ref to the 1.6 vs. 2.0. everything i've heard here has ref to the 2.0. also, i have to boot w dvd and im a little confused. perhaps this is too much for this old man?drea

By 1.6 and 2.0 I suppose you mean the 1.6 nanosecond Samsung GDDR3's and 2.0ns Samsung GDDR3 modules?
The 1.6 NS ones overclock well into the 600's if cooled well and wasily into the 570 - 590 range if not.... 2.0ns modules you won't have so much luck, IIRC 500 Mhz is the top end |

thanks H3X4D3C1M4L , that is what i meant. i can clock to 520 or so now, i was more concerened if i could open to 16 pipes. of course, it now has the 12.
