adjusting memory timings w/ATT
first of all, i have spent several hours thinking which forum to place this thread in, and i finally decided this one would be the best. So any other moderator can move it to an appropriate forum if they feel it's not the right one.
Anyways.....my question is about ATI Tray Tools and the memory timings. I'd like to mess around with the memory timings, but i dare not touch them because they are no where nearly as simple as system memory timings. I want to increase my memory speeds on my gfx card by loosening the timings a little bit. I just want to know what i should adjust and how. All this in hopes for better stable OCing w/my x800's memory

Here is the odd thing, when I had my 9700pro I got higher mem clocks with a few timings tightened....
I just tried changing the timings one at a time, and if it went bonkers i just restarted.... and tried again.

how does loosening timings screw stuff up? i guess with trying to tighten timings you're pushing the components beyond spec but loosening timings is like underclocking....
