Intel....BAH! It's just great because an AMD CPU running at what....300 mhz less is actually equivalent to an Intel CPU.....Crazy. Oh and yeah...it costs less.... Intel 3.06 ghz 768$ at pricewatch.com

If the experiences of these Northwood owners are true, C0NAN, I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, envious.

Man, when I realized my Thunderbird 1.3 overclocked to 1.4 is equivalent to a P4 1.7 or 1.8, man, I smiled.

Then you smiled realizing when that cruddy old processor was originally introduced it cose just as much as a 1.7ghz...right?
Or did you smile when you also realized that Sandra scores really don't mean crap for performance comparisons?
Whatever, you'll never see an AMD hit 3.5ghz on air...hah, probably never even reach 3ghz.
If a 3.06Ghz P4 is faster than a 2.26Ghz Athlon...who the hell cares about clock difference? Athlon can't scale to the speeds it needs to compete! ARGH! Yeah, it's cheaper...BUT SLOWER! DO YOU NOT SEE THE FUTILITY OF THESE ARGUMENTS? ARGH!
