How to check the temp in your pc?

well the title says it all...how to check the temp?....newer understood that

You can check with a couple programs .. Speedfan will be able to read the temps, as well as Everest Home Edition.

i downloaded speedfan and is this good or bad?

CPU ~ 55*C
Ambient ~ 49*C
Remote ~ 42*C
HD0 ~ 57*C

You probably have an intel prescott p4[preshot] those run around those temps, so if you do, then yeah.

like to me like you need better caseflow.

My case is sitting without the sideon, and have no case fans, and my HDD and MB temps are quite a bit lower (30 for MB, and 41 for HDD)

System Specs

your cases ambiant seems high. right now, my cases ambiant is sitting at 26C, my A64 3200+ is at 31C, and my x800pro is at 37C.

i know pentiums run hot, but im not sure if that temp is acceptable on idle.

those temps sugests a comp shoved in a corner some where give it some air man...i bet my left nut that, that poor pressie throttles when you play games

temp1: 25c
temp2: 28c
temp3: 0c
temp: 1c
hd0: 34c

so i dont know wots wot can any one help me here is this any good
