System Specs

Need Help With Some New RAM

Hello there, I have just bought some GeIL PC3200 Ram (the first model, lower timings ) And Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with it, and knows if the ram can be pushed (such as timings/speed etc), any help will be very appriciated, thanks

well from what is listed at 2.5-3-3-6 it doesnt look like you'll get THAT much from it maybe if you bump timings to 3-3-3-8 or 3-4-4-8

I used to own a set. The only bad thing about them is their looser timings then others.
But over all great ram.

The ram I owned though was the “ultra platinum” PC3200 kit….

some major differences from the value ram. “ultra platinum” features a lot better plated copper heat spreader and a lot higher voltage handling and their rated @ CAS 2 . I have no idea about the value ram, usually value series are just that not as good cut or dumbed down versions of the originals. Not the best for over clocking....

Never used the value ram, do a little careful trail and error and see how well it does....
