OCing a Celeron D?
Well, I launched to the BIOS yesterday and checked if I could overclock my processor. Unfortunately, the CPU settings are locked; I can't change 'em at all. Is there any way to get past this? I have a 2.66 GHz Celeron D 330.

Nope. You might be able to OC your CPU by increasing the FSB. Do some reading into overclocking (voltage, cooling, etc) before you do this.

I know, but the things is, I can't even change any of the settings. That includes the FSB. Is there a program I can download that will do it?

Flashing to a different bios might work.

is your computer a pre-built computer (ex.: Dell, HP, Compaq, etc.)? If so, then that's the problem. Those companies do not let you tamper w/any clock frequency settings at all.

Yep, it is. I'll just try and OC it when I get a new mobo. Thanks.
