Good Overclocking Rig
Hey all,
I am playing with the idea of making a gaming/overclocking rig. I am looking around for the best hardware for this.
Now, DFI's lineup in motherboards seems to be getting attention, especially from OC'ers.
Processor and Memory will definately change over time, however I am wondering what good:
Cases
Power
would be?
The 'other' parts needed for the computer. What types of power supplies and cases allow for good ventilation.
I heard power somewhere around 480-500w. But not sure on what type/brand.
Thanks for the help

My recommendations would be, by own experience..
Case: CM Stacker
PSU: OCZ Powerstream 520w
These two combines both Super stabe rails, and very good ventilation..

Look here for a complete list of good cases for cooling
I like the Spiral Galexies, coolermaster cases, the Enermax maxflow, the lianli cases, the silverstone cases, and the thermalrock / thermaltake cases. For a PSU I'd get an OCZ Powerstream 520w.

ThermalTake makes very solid cases that are a wee bit smaller then the CM Stacker, altho it's amazing too.
Vantec and OCZ get my nod on the powersupplies, vantec being a good deal cheaper.

PC Power & Cooling power supplys!Antec's and OCZ's are good also.Heck, there are lots of good ones out there.I have an OCZ 470W thats 6 months old if youre interested?????Maxinum PC did a power supply round-up a couple of months ago.You mite wanna look for the old issue. The 2 that came out on top were PC Power & Cooling and Antec.OCZ came out looking good also. But stay away from X-Connect!EVERYTHING I read about them is BAD NEWS!
