not sure what's wrong

I recently got a amd 3200+ 939, 2x512mb pc4000, and a msi neo2-f. Windows installed fast and everything. Some time after I installed the newest omega drivers, something went wrong and performance decreased. I'm new to amd 64 operation and stuff so I'm not sure what's going on. I ran 3dmark05 twice and only received a 4500. On my 1gb pc2700 and barton 2500 stock, i got 5000 with my x800 at stock. The only problems I can think that may have dragged my performance down is the fast writes enabled or a memory setting in the bios.

yeah i installed all drivers and even checked for online updates. the problem doesn't seem to lie in fast write, disabling it actually lowered my score another 500 points. i may try reinstalling the drivers or trying some memory test.

Yeah I forgot to mention that the dual channel isn't working from what it looks like. The bios says 100 mhz for DDR memory frequency when it should say 400 mhz. I'm not sure how to fix it though, never had this problem.

I checked and finally found that the memory wasn't in dual channel because of the placement on the motherboard. I'm pretty sure it's working well now. I ran some tests and was able to score 175 points higher than my old score in 3dmark2005. I'm not sure what difference an upgrade from a barton 2800+ to a winchester 3200+ makes in 3dmark2005 though. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it to 2.5 ghz once I figure out the numbers well. I don't know whether to put the sdram controller at 1T or 2T either. There's also some pci clock disable that's not explained in the manual.
