some prototype testing
Well ive been busy this week testing some new unreleased hardware from various companies, and although I cant discuss it in any detail I thought id share a little intentionally blurred picture the messy driverheaven testing rig with some amazingly powerful hardware and a little benchie from 3dmark01.
The processor is the forthcoming EE from intel overclocked quite high (4.3ghz+), with 4 gig of DDR2 running at 800mhz and a video card from....well ........

so when do we get to see the real deal!
i would like to get my hands on one of those p4ee
how come you have the bus only at 800? mem thing? na, i know you have some fast ocz & god knows what else, so what is up?
sorry, saw the ddr2 thing that explained everything. pricey stuff.
can't wait for your review. really curious to see how ddr2 performs at higher speeds & how cost effective it is. they are really ramping up production so prices should start coming down in a couple of months.

FYI: I know that I know but i'm just not telling you'll just have to wait and see
you will find out when ever ATI gives the green to do so! But it should be pretty self evident

in all honesty, that just made my jaw drop, which is hard because i'm lying down, and then it made me feel like crap. i know that in a few months that hardware will be out, and my stuff that i just paid 1000 bucks for will be crap in comparison. oh well :*(
edit
i'm knocking on 25,000 w/ my system...hmm...shouldn't it be a little higher?

A new EE? The only new one I know is the EE 3.73GHZ with 64bit powa! Zardon, I hope that the vid card you got in there is the one I'm planing on buying this year...
40k....
And I can just hit the 20ks (barely) with my rig... I hate you
I just got one question. Can you do that same test with a stock Processor just to see what the vid card itself is worth? And some 3dmark03 + 05? If you'd be sooo kind sir Zardon

I've seen plenty of 40ks, but not many with a P4EE, nice work Zardon. Please go buy an FX55 and crank it up to 3+ghz then rerun mark01 . As for the vid card it must be damn powerful to get 40k if an EE is being used as the cpu considering compared to an A64 which does a lot better in mark01.

Hmmm I'm more intresting to see Futuremark 03 or 05, as 3D mark 2001 is quite cpu bound.
But nice score Mr show off
