Cooling solution for AMD64/6600GT PCX...
I have been searching web for a whole day looking for fine cooling solution for my rig. I have Nexus Breeze silent case so it must be closed(which means no case fans+such). I would love to get Zalman Reserator 1, but it's far too expensive.
I have been thinking this solution: Zalman VF700-Cu + Zalman CNPS-7700-Cu. I'd love to overclock a bit more, and get reasonable quiet combination. Without spending too much money. What do you think?
Check my signature for my rig.
EDIT/ADDED
I have now with all stock coolings and small overclocking these idle temperatures: cpu 45, mb 33, gpu 56(/enviroment 45).

why not make a water cooling setup yourself, its cheaper than kits and usually a lot better.

I haven't ever worked with watercooling, nor even seen one in use. I don't want to see worst case scenario all made by myself you know

i got watercooling for the first time and it worked out great! (kinda ) i just didnt connect the tubing all the way lol! i tested it out side the case first so it was all good . got it hooked up in one weekend and crazy cool temps far better then any air cooling can do. i say go for water if you want QUIET performance. thats just my 2 cents , carry on....

look into swiftech kits for water cooling, if you wanan go that route, otherwise, zalman swiftech, or thermalright are all good choices for air.

nexus makes really good waterblocks, i'm sure that their heatsinks are probably pretty decent as well.

I just heard that Nexus wouldn't cool good enough, it's just extremely quiet.
Here's screenshot which I found about Zalman Resorator 1
http://www.soneraplaza.fi/GetImages/...1,50900,00.png
Rasitus=Load, Lämpötila=Temperature. Seems that it's not that better against zalman airflow coolers that I should spend 100euros more to get waterbased system, and I wouldn't have money.
Not much difference with air cooling, only problems is that my case is "closed", patended silent form by Nexus.
(more information about the case, http://www.nexustek.nl/breeze.htm)
So anyway, watercooling sounds reasonable if I had more money, but then again, I'm not.
So my question is as this case is "closed", how would zalman airflow coolers would rock with this kind of design? I was thinking about artic vgasilencers as well, but they are not in Finland yet(gf6600gt pcie models at least), it would definetly rock as it pushes hot air out of case.
And one more thing, if I add cooler for graphic card which eats another slot+add another gf6600gt pcie to work in SLI, I think there would be zero pcie 1x slots for upcoming soundcards spare. Is that so?
Help me please with these questions...I'm ordering stuff immediatly after I get some thing sorted out in my head

that is so.
I have heard some theories that if you got a small form factor PCI express 1x card, then you could fit it inbetween those two in SLI, but if you have a particularly large cooler, I wouldnt even try it.
And even if it was normal size cooling, if you have an Audigy 2ZS sized card, theres no way it will fit.
Sorry man

Any word of Artic cooling freezer 64?
I could get it very low price tag. Even tales would be nice to hear of it so I know should I order it. I didn't have as much money as I counted earlier, otherwise I would buy Thermalright XP-90 or XP-120(even when I hate removing motherboard because of the installation). And this freezer64 installs as easy as the stock one.
I can't get zalman vf-700cu for graphic card, only alcu version. And nv silencer 6 rev2 ain't yet in Finland. So looks quite bad for gfx cooling
