Default Post WinXP and Overclocking

For some reason I can overclock higher now that I use WinXP.

It doesn't make sense to me because my ambient temps are the same as they were...yet instead of the 260/580 stability limit on my Ti500...I have successfully run at 265/590....and could probably go higher! Any ideas why I can OC better?

(BTW, 8500+ 3dmarks! whoo! movin' on up!)

Well, I've got a similar problem with my computer too, about six months ago, (I've a GeForce3 Ti200), then I installed newer drivers + rivatuner, got no more problems afterwards...

It's not much help, but I can only tell what happened with my computer...

Just in case people read this wrong, I can overclock MORE, which is a good thing!

Although I don't feel like OCing anymore, now that I got my score I'll be playing games instead!
