Default Post Pc150 ram

Anyone out there have a mobo that runs 133 RAM and you replaced it with PC150 RAM? I found some cheap PC150 RAM and am trying to decide if I wanna do it and if it will even work. I'm running an ASUS A7V133 board with the 1009 bios. I currently have 768 MB of PC133. The problem with that is that I can't overclock the RAM beyond 140mhz and stay stable. If I take one of the cheaper crappier sticks out then I can get two 256 sticks to run at 150 mhz. Anything beyond that the computer won't post (even with individual sticks). I just wanna run PC150 and maybe overclock it if possible. Thanks for the help in advance.

Good sdram reviews herehttp://www.cluboc.net/reviews/index.htm#power

Corsair PC133 CL2 seems to beat them all, even PC166.
and like the corsair review says, it also depends on your hardware

Get a big 512MB stick of PC150 CL2 ram...probably hard to find, but it'll over-clock better than what you have.

Or upgrade to a DDR setup, you'll REALLY notice it.

I'm planning on getting a 256mb stick of KingMax PC-150 CL2 6ns in the next few weeks (waiting for a refund on some 256mb PC-133 CL2 7.5ns 1st from another company) for ~$50.

Here's a stick of 512mb for ~$100 from http://www.memorysuppliers.com/kin51pc6nssd.html
They were very prompt in returning my email ?'s explaining that the OCZ PC-150 is oc'd PC-133 & the KingMax is a true 150mhz TinyBGA ram. I'll let ya know my opinion on it after I run it for awhile. Prolly in a month or so.

Have a good one,

Tiny BGA is cool, and really tiny compared to normal sticks of ram...I wish they'd make BGA ram for DDR systems...that would be neato...or DDR2 would be nice.
