The piece I cut out for the window weighed 8 lbs almost 3.7 kg alone.
Thanks Hobo! I am cosidering making little lightning bolts out of some of the piece I cut out and having them radiate out from the round fan intake area.

Thanks, just remember the purple doesnt actually show up as intense.... the pentax optio I used to take the pic doesnt like UV lights

This case is impossible to route wires through, i can't run any behind drive bays ect. I'm considering running some under the mobo, maybe that'll help

Thats gonna be a noisy fan, lots of turbulence and whatnot going to be created by that grill, and it will make a quiet fan into a jet engine  Best to use no grill at all, or the rounded ones.

I intend to put spacers between it and the actual fan body, do you think that would negate the issue you describe?
